Rank the West starting goaltenders from 1-8

Here's mine

Rinne (bar none the top goalie in the west)
Bryzgalov
Quick
Hiller (if he starts, if it's Ellis then theyre #8)
Crawford (yes that's right Crawford ahead of Bobby Lu, he's had an awesome season)
Luongo
Howard
Neimi
Ellis (if he starts)

You are insane if you think Howard > Niemi.

Rinne
Luongo
Hiller
Bryzgalov
Niemi
Quick
Crawford
Howard

I generally don't have a problem with how people order this but Howard should be no higher than the bottom 2.

This. Although Quick and Nemo are interchangeable.

Sorry, I do not know how Luongo is 6th. How is he worse than Hiller/Crawford? Just wondering, I want your reason.

Luongo shouldn't be in the top 4 IMO. A lot of people must be rating him based on past seasons.

Rinne
Bryzgalov
Hiller
Quick
Niemi
Luongo
Crawford
Howard

Glad that many of you brought the sane train back and put Luongo top 4. It's been his best year as a Canuck to date. I think this the first year that a rested(thanks to Schneider) Luongo gets a real shot at a deep run.

Why are so many people down on Niemi?

It may be that the 'Yotes just played him. But he was the only reason the Sharks won the last game and a huge reason they won in Phoenix a couple weeks prior. I thought he played damn well every time I watched the Sharks.

I'd put Bryz with Rinne and Luongo, or in his own spot. He is quite a bit better than Hiller.

This is one of his best years to date?

Have you even really watched a game with Luongo in net?

The idea that Crawford is better than Luongo is even more nuts than the idea that Howard is better than Niemi.

Luongo
Bryzgalov
Hiller
Rinne
Niemi
Quick
Howard
Crawford
Ellis

Nashville overcounts shots and this is Rinne's first above average season.

Wouldn't have anything to do with the team in front of him having one of their best years to date, would it?

There is no correlation between the quality of the team in front of a goalie and save percentage.

Yes, that is a part of it. Tell me again how Crawford played against Detroit when the Hawks' season was on the line?
