Did/were KalPa going to retire his jersey to the roof? I think there was talk of that when I spent my last year in Finland when he was in what was thought to be his last season. I took the (far far far too long) bus journey from Tampere to Kuopio and I think they only have 1 or 2 numbers retired so far.

Amazing signing, he was awesome with Ilves a couple of seasons ago, the amount of powerplay blueline slapshot goals he scored for them was really quite something, although he wasn't always the best at the actual defence side of things

Yeah I somewhat expected that, but he will still be a great player to bring in for the Pelicans, who could have done with his goals last season.

We're bringing in some good players for next season, last year was a disaster, bringing in some established players is a good thing, these 3 and Männikö give me some confidence, hopefully there will be a few more coming in and no more going out.

Yep, up to him if he will go there next season. Could very well go to the AHL for next season with maybe a stint in the big league. Hopefully things will work out for him.
