Juraj Mikus -> TPS
Pretty epique signing. Mikus was the top scorer for his KHL club.

Be interesting to see what he's like in SM-Liiga. I saw him in KHL about 2 months back and he was totally uninterested and looked every day of his 39 years.

Pretty strong rumors that Mark Lee from Ilves in headed to Ässät or Tappara.
According to Satakunnan Kansa, it's a done deal:

Also Ässät are still looking for one more Finnish player.
Edit. Yeah especially considering what was left out there and can realistically expect, I am very pleased.

And now Radek Smolenak will part ways with Ässät.
Wasn't the physical player that was expected and there was many little things that were not clicking for some time now.
Interesting times for a Ässät-fan.

Wow, so Assat has signed both Jakub Sindel and Mark Lee. Two really good signings for an already stacked team. Really excited to see how the Aces will perform in the playoffs (fingers crossed).
Also, Yetman is gone? Didn't see any posts about it. Oh well, they've compensated and then some. What are the lines looking like with the new signings?

They released both Yetman and Radek Smolenak. Replaced them with Lee and Sindel.
The lines are changing alot since there have been some injuries. But come play-off time, if everyone's healthy, the lines should look something like this:
Santavuori - Uusikartano - Armia
Zaborsky - Dixon - Savinainen
Aaltonen - Lee - Sindel
Sillanpää/Juusela - Niemi/Sillanpää - Mutanen/Mäkilä/Laaksonen
Uusitalo - Sammalkangas
Caldwell - Kudroc
Taimi - Honkanen/Mielonen/Malkamäki
Alot of competition for the fourth line roles. But there are most likely going to be some more injuries so it's good to have some spare guys.

Not optimistic on Sindel, but Lee seems like an awesome signing. A perfect third line center and player for this team atm.

aside from the obvious in granlund and hovinen, could armia come over? or someone whos flying under the radar?

Doubt about Armia. Vatanen should be going.

From Ilves, Sami Aittokallio could be looking for a (minor league) spot. Toni Rajala too, perhaps?
I think Perttu Lindgren might give it another shot, or just head to KHL.

Aittokallio better stay in Finland. Avs system is full of goalies and he will have guaranteed quality minutes in Finland.

It's been rumoured in the Avs that the franchise want Aittokallio in America next year, as they see on him a #1 Goalie potential.
I think it may be a good idea to go to a minor league. Ilves didn't give him the chance to play regularly in SM-Liiga.
