I couldn't remember what HIFK fans had to say about Jarkko's little brother Tuomo when he switched back to HIFK from Jokerit but I doubt he wasn't welcomed back... Tuomo first moved from HIFK to Jokerit and now big brother is doing the same thing.

No he isn't. Jarkko is moving to Jokerit from Anaheim. But I agree, would Jarkko swap teams, let's say a year from now, many HIFK fans would welcome him back. It goes like this with many players, but especially with the Ruutu's- I just think they look like HIFK players.

I know that. But the general idea still applies since he last played with HIFK when he played for a Finnish club team.

I suppose this is just a minor news since Janne Pesonen quake but Pavel Skrbek moves to JYP for the remainder of the season from Kladno. He will be here sometime this month.

Yeah, he's certainly elite player in SM-Liiga, but HIFK's offense was already overloaded with top players...

When he moved from DIF to Linkoping a few seasons ago he was on a good contract, he left there and played last 2 seasons in KHL and is a regular Swedish International, surely he can't be cheap?

Anyway, i watched him for a couple of seasons in Sweden and i think he can be a solid defender in SM-Liiga.

Ässät already rented defenceman Juho Mielonen to HIFK (has played three games there), will rent forward Nico Aaltonen to HPK for 5 games and are willing to rent defenceman Jesse Jyrkkiö (I'd guess after Mielonen comes back) since it's been about a month since he last played in Ässät. Cool.
