Doesn't appear to have any coaching experience, but he certainly has a lot of playing time in a variety of places. Good luck, Nolan, and welcome to the organization!
Let's hope he can make the transition and is able to translate that experience and pass it on. He must have interviewed well.
D'alvise has a chance to make the Falcons, if not he will help Chicago with scoring.
Is it just me, or does that make for one heck of a commentary on the overhaul Springfield's received this year?

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!
I think it makes a big statement about the fact the Jackets went out and made an effort to put a good team together here in Springy. The fact D'alvise who was one of the better players when he was not injured quite possibly will not even crack the lineup is a big deal.
As for predictions. I hate to get too excited before the season begins...because of the past 13 seasons. I do feel good about the team though. Hoping for playoffs. My prediction is playoffs, 2nd in the division, probably 5th seed. Hoping of course to be under-predicting!
By the sounds of it there were a lot of good performances at the Traverse City tourny. I would say that Savard and Kubalik have a real good chance to stick with the Jackets, and other than the guys going back to juniors, the Falcons fans are going to get a good look at a few of these guys.
My guess is that unless Cam really turns heads in camp that he will end up back in Springfield. His problem is more of a forwards numbers game. But, should a few guys under-perform in Columbus, or the dreaded injury bug hit, he could be on the short list to be called up.
I did not mention Johan since he is ineligible to play in the A.
Last I knew season ticket sales were down. They trying to get people to buy/renew seats with the contest over the past few months. Chance to win a game worn Falcons jersey each month and the grand prize is a trip to Columbus for a game.
The comment about having to win fans back is correct. Also the economy is bad, people have had to cut back on non-necessities.

You mean going to a hockey game is not a necessity? Are you sure?? Not sure I could take it.. But regretfully a reality.
Springfield just got better today with our cuts. Hope it helps attendance for you guys.
