Ov is not going to run Lundqvist. He doesnt run goalies. Thats for Laich and Hendricks.
When did anyone say Ovi is going to run lundqvist? He needs to focus on knocking him out of the game. By scoring goals. I don't want Ovi focused on going after the Rags bottom line players. Look what happened to Green after he had what I thought was a shady hit on Stepan.

How in the world did Ovi not catch Koci the Orge, anyways?

You crack me up.

I'll say this .... I'm a big fan of the minimalist GDT's but this one is solid. I'll take your record and we can save the big guns (me ) for dire straits.

Christ is it 5PM yet so I can leave this office, hop on the metro and start boozing!

Just realize if we're the home team the thread needs to be up a little early. Once I lose one it's all you.

That the Rags and their fans are thinking of it alone serves it's purpose. Let's hope it will be more of a distraction to the Rags and have Stepan constantly looking over his shoulder as when and if it might happen.

I would prefer the Caps not do anything in the first two games especially if they are up in those games. Use it when it benefits the Caps, such as a need for momentum change. All of this being said, I do want to see a Bradley/Hendricks exact some revenge against Stepan. Worse case scenario DJ King hasn't played that many games, so he may not be recognized by the Rangers, so just have DJ get on the hotel elevator with Stepan, nuff said.

In regards to this, does someone have a YT or picture of the hit? From what I remember it sure looked like Stepan stuck out his chicken wing towards Green's head. Retalliation from a very recent Green hit on Stepan. Sure didn't look legit at the time, but it was a couple months ago.

No but I recall a Bradley hit on Mara against these same Rangers doing just that two years ago.

This is the least minimalist I've seen a Caps GDT this season.

Yeah, definitely not expecting him to return at all during these playoffs. Next season, who knows, but right now my hopes that he'll ever really be 100% again are not high.

AGrossRecord: Confirmed: Zuccarello and Gilroy in; Avery, Eminger out.

More offensive players, albeit less physical.

yeah, thanks. i'd forgotten the call from the NY guys was head hit, too. in general i think the announcer teams around the league have gotten the message about head hits. call 'em like they are and cut out the homerism at least in this regard. and i think it's good.

and Let's Go Caps!
