Well, that sucks. I was looking forward to Johansson turning Eminger inside-out all game. Gilroy isn't without his troubles, and perhaps Chimera can pound Zuccarello out of his game (I doubt it, that guy is tough). All in all, they get faster, but with the Caps' new game, I'm not really sure that they'll be as effective in the defensive zone. Losing Avery's forechecking tenacity spells good things for Mike Green, at least.

Not to be labor the point, ah f it, yes to , I still can't understand how that goal was disallowed when the referee behind the goal called it a good goal and such things are not reviewable. Because we had a similar situation in the last game in Ottawa when the guy Green repeatedly kicked the puck and then followed up running into Varlamov (interfering with him) so that he could not make a save on the goal. Recall the response was the interference with the goalie was not reviewable and only if the goal was scored by deliberate kicking motion was reviewable. Thus how could Ovie's goal be disallowed for interference if its not reviewable and the referee ruled it a good goal based upon what had occurred in the Ottawa game.

Also, how is it interference when the puck is right between both of Gill's skates?

Anyways. Pop them in the ****ing mouth!

The caps need to come out fast and hard and get up a couple goals in the 1st period

It's going to be sloppy and played tight for the first few minutes as most would expect, but I feel the first goal in this game will be crucial.

OK, just got home, caught a bit on EC play off predictions on HNL OTF, at the time Bob Mckenzie (who i like and respect) was comparing Rags to 2 dollar steak, meanwhile they were showing Mr. Avery on the background, which for some reason made me think about 3 dollar bill instead...

This is gonna be a long focking day...

Explain this comparison. I assume that's not a compliment? I thought BMac said he wouldn't be announcing predictions this year. Did he tip his hand?

6 hours and some change left to go boys.

I rode in to work on the harley with the caps flag mounted, in the rain, big $#it eating grin. Just for the hell of it. I'm ready.

Deamons will be damned.

that poor, poor horse. yeah, the caps, as you well know, have been on the short end of so many of these contradictory calls. i tend to think more than other teams, but then, i don't watch other teams as much. does make you wonder what the officials meetings in the offseason are like? "wow don, you really f'd that one. at least it was just washington. gary's probably not worried about it. ha ha ha."

I discovered this video about a week ago and cannot stop watching it (even though they included a Chris Clark headshot probably thinking it was Laich sporting a playoff beard). Totally gets me jacked, "Time To Hoist" gives me chills.
