Martin and Michalek had a hell of game. Not too many chances given up on their watch.

Neal had a great game and Fleury was a brick wall tonite. Lecavalier nearly had that brilliant goal but Fleury made an even better save. Terrific playoff hockey.

would have given the 3rd star to orpik. Staal really wasn't that impressive and whiffed on at least 3 scoring chances.

eww. You gotta give one to Roloson... And no more than one Pens forward deserved a star tonight. If you really don't want to give one to Roloson, give the third to Orpik.

What a great game (cuz we won of course but still). I thought it was very entertaining. I think Tampa slightly got the better of the 1st, we really outplayed them in the 2nd, and the 3rd we played well also. They pressed really hard and almost made it a game.

Overall I thought the Penguins got the better of the play. I still think the rest of the games may be a bit of a toss up still though. Tampa had an unusual amount of chances that were oh so close. I think what the Penguins did well was they played "their game" but they also kept up with Tampa in terms of scoring chances.

Keys for the Pens in game 2: Keep on keepin' on with the forecheck. Must keep finding ways to manufacture legitimate chances.

Keys for Tampa: I think they've gotta gut it out a little more to match the Penguins' intensity. They literally had 5-6 chances that were oh so close, just laying in or around the crease. At the same time no one was there in time to put them in.

At the rink the stars were 1. MAF 2. Kovalev 3. Staal. I don't know where Staal came from. I mean he didn't have a bad game but Orpik? Asham? Hell, James Neal.

I think Staal was at least as good as Neal, and both of them were better than Asham.

Orpik should be a star for sure though.

A lot of you guys said Orpik is not that needed here, Orpik proved alot of you guys wrong. I'd only trade him for Perry as that rumor went but Orpik proved he's an extremly important piece to our team and we need him here MUCH more then we don't need him. He laid the BOOM all night long.

I don't know why "he's not untouchable" means "I don't think we need him" to some of you. I'll never, ever get it. But hey you'd trade him for Perry so I guess it's all good. Glad someone's sensible around here.
