I'm not a fan of facing Price and Montreal. Can we have a goalie comparable to ours for once?

Miller playing great to keep the flyers scoreless. Sabres just killed off a big 5 on 3

Tampa and Philly are the only options this year for that.

scoring is old school now. not allowed. last night's caps game is actually the median nhl playoff game this season.

Fire Clode. Trade Lucic. String up Thomas. Read the Boston board. Had they waved off Ov's goal last night that would have been here. thank god for little things

Montreal winning this way pretty much ruined playoff hockey for everyone

You want to talk about a coach on the hot seat? Boston loses a series to Montreal (and yes, it's extremely early in this one, but just supposing), and Julien might as well just not show up the next day.

Honestly, I know he's played much better this year, but we've gotten at Price consistently throughout his career. I think this year's Habs team is worse and this year's Caps team is better. Wouldn't mind facing them.

So what did Philly do to beat these guys on a regular basis last year? Was it out of gas + never letting them get a lead?

flyers actually have some skill in their forward group

everyone plays the same super defensive strategy now.

Agreed, but mostly because Boston finding ways to lose to Montreal never gets old.

No matter how good or bad the Habs happen to be in a given year, if they can make the playoffs, they can always take the Bruins.

Sabres up 1-0. Kaleta on the board.

Credit to Montreal stacking up defensively but Boston is such a vanilla team offensively.
