Anyone else get the feeling Tampa will choke this lead?

I'm sure if they could, the Bolts would just stand all 5 guys in front of their net, and form a human wall to keep the pucks out, and protect old man Roloson.

I can't bare to watch anymore of this Preds game. Constant stupid penalties and failed powerplay opportunities from Nashville and their PK is getting torched. They are doing this to themselves now.

Ben Smith with two goals. Who would have guessed? Chicago's getting some good pressure but allowing too many odd-man rushes.

Are we betting on the over and under for the Pens/Bolts PP chances? I say the Pens are +13 for the series. Usually, the league would be falling over itself to help out Stevie Y but nobody beats Mario at this.

Realistically, I think

1) Tampa takes the series from the Pens. The Pens have been playing way over their heads with out Crosby, Malkin and Cooke, and they just can't keep it going indefinetly. They're due for a collapse.

2) Boston and Philly come back to win their series. Philly has just too much firepower for Buffalo, Boston is much more complete and rounded team than Montreal.

That said, if we get one upset in the first round (Tampa), get the other two series to go the distanced (6, 7 games), and we have a relatively short, injury free series against the Rags (4,5 games), mission accomplished. You couldn't ask for a better opening round!

NHLBruins: #Bruins have confirmed to media that Chara was hospitalized for dehydration last night. He's currently being evaluated by med staff.

Sounds like Chara will still play but Pronger remains out.

Van-Det in the west, if it comes to it, will be a fantastic series.

Datsyuk has had some out of this world shifts today. Detroit putting on an absolutely silly puck possession clinic.

This Detroit-Phoenix game is wide-open right now. No pressure at all in the neutral zone for either team.

Also, Ed Jovanovski is intimidating.

Intense game, and a lot of goals for this early in the contest.

That 3-on-1 was awfully loose for Philly at this time of year. Positively Washingtonian, circa April 2010. 3-2 Buffalo.

Shocker... Philadelphia still needs a real goalie.

O man. Lavy has really been working that gum already in period 1. Bobrovsky left a huge gap there for that 3rd goal.
