VERSUS broadcasting games by region?

The VS website is showing that they will be airing the MTL @ BOS game on Thursday. But the Flyers website is showing that VS is airing the BUF @ PHI game...I am confused. Will they be doing the same thing that NBC does when they have 2 games scheduled to air at the same time? They did it by region. There was a map that someone posted as to what game which parts of the country would get. Does anybody know anything about this? I am in Atlanta and want to know if I can watch on TV. No, I don't have Center Ice.

LAME. A whole 30 minutes of the game. Maybe.

But, will NHL Center Ice be showing the game at all? I heard if it's on VS they blackout the Center Ice feeds. I hope this is not the case since I will be at the sports bar down the street to watch.

They don't blackout JIP games, as far as I know.

That's EXACTLY what I said too, I have Center Ice on DirecTV and it's not on any other channel, not even the Buffalo feed from what I saw...I'm gonna have to listen online to Timmy and Bundy online until the game DOES get shown on Versus...

In the next few months and I get my own place, I'll have cable again and I'll NEVER have to sweat out seeing my teams again...can't happen soon enough for me! Just counting the days!

It's funny, because I understand the reason for it in Philly, but if I never have cable again it'll be too soon.

If you miss the first 30 minutes of a game you may miss 3 goals by the Flyers and still see them lose 4-3 in a playoff shootout.

I have Center Ice, but I don't see the Flyer game listed on there yet, actually I don't see ANY game listed on there...any idea when we MAY see games listed because right now, I don't see any besides the games on Versus...

And the Flyer game is only on for a half hour? You can BET if that were Pittsburgh, they'd have gotten the whole damn game!

This was the case last year as well. They didn't get some of the 1st round NJ games up until mid-day on game day. (Granted, my tivo could have delayed a bit).

They never had it on the center ice web site either.

So, to be sure not to miss a minute...get to your tv in time. It'll be there somewhere.

Games usually go up between 12-3 on the first day of the playoffs.

Plenty of streaming feeds available online. Im relatively new here, so I wont post links if its taboo...just let me know if its not!

Im stuck w/the Craps/NYR, and whatever VS. shows. I ended up watching the bulk of the 1st 2 rounds last season online. Got to the point where Id do it even if it were on TV b/c of superstitions.

I won't post links here either if you can't, but I'm sure I can find an online stream so I can catch the start of the game, watch it online and then switch to the TV...whenever THAT is...

I think it might be from last years playoffs, but it appears to have been updated with this years dates. I don't necessarily trust it, but it gives me hope that the whole game will at least be televised.

Good to see. I vaguely remember this happening last year, but not seeing any listings on my box still makes me nervous. None of the "GAME" channels are even showing up. Luckily I can set my DVR from my phone if they decide to update the listings tomorrow. Home feed and HD!

Both of my streaming options weren't working last night for various games, kinda worried about tonight.

Any suggestions are welcomed. Im affraid Im going to have to pony up and order the streaming center ice via NHL.com

streams for the games will be posted in the GDT once they become available. we rarely go without a stream. now, the quality of the stream? yeah, that varies quite a bit.
