Doc has been incredible but to me Hamels deserves the Cy Young award right now.

Gotta love it when the starter with the third lowest ERA on your team throws 30 consecutive scoreless innings.

Was at the game tonight.

Btw, Lee is half way there to tying the MLB record for consecutive shutouts. Something to keep in the back of your mind his next start.

Tonight was beautiful. The obnoxious Red Sox fans behind me left after the 4th disgusted. Left field was really heckling the **** out of Darnell McDonald tonight, so much so that the lady Red Sox fan in front started cursing off the entire section, as well as her Phillies boyfriend. Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn. If she kept chirping he would've been in trouble most likely.

Some ****** behind me shouted at her "You look like one of those Yankee *****! A real Boston rodent!" That was harsh.

Lee's delivery is a marvel of physics and his pitch selection a marvel of deception.

NL Leaders in ERA:

1 Jurrjens, J ATL 2.07
2 Halladay, R PHI 2.40
3 Hamels, C PHI 2.49

4 Hanson, T ATL 2.62
5 Zimmermann, J WSH 2.63
6 Lee, C PHI 2.66

Does that help any?

Yeah, I can't feel anything because of how good Cliff Lee is right now.

Good for them if Carrasco can mature, but I'm sure by the time that happens we can get him back for some more prospects.

As soon as Hamels got hurt, Charlie conceded the game. Seriously. Putting in Herndon and now this joker was his way of saying, "We already won the series and don't really need today's game. Here you go, Red Sox, you guys have been good sports, consider this a gift." The funny thing is, I kind of agree with him. Why **** up the bullpen for the next series? Lester's dealing today anyway.

Just a shame for Cole. I think this is 3 straight outings now that he's trying for his 10th win and his ERA has fallen each time, and is still waiting for his 10th. Bad luck.

Fortunately x-ray was negative and he should make his next start.
