Versus stiffing us on game 1??

Anyone know if there's a site or somewhere that actually knows what the hell Versus is going to be showing for playoff games?? Sunday night NHLNet shows that games 1-5 will be shown by either Versus or NBC.. But if you check Versus site schedule, there have Coyotes/Redwings posted for Wednesday night at 7.. Total bs unless that is just for the west coast or something? Any ideas??

NM, I just checked my DirecTV "guide" and there definitely showing the Redwings/Coyotes at 7.. Has the Caps/Rangers listed from 9:30-10 lol... Then Blackhawks/Canucks at 10.. No love for the EAST (or 1 seed) at all..

Did you actually think the national game was going to be the Caps over the Wings? If Crosby was playing there would probably be an equal chance of it being the Pens instead but it was never going to be the Caps IMO.

Given the New York market in addition to Washington, I really did think that they'd have gone with our series instead of Detroit-Phoenix.

It's a "Joined in Progress" game, meaning we'll get whatever time is left between when the Red Wings game ends and when the Canucks game begins. Probably the last half of the third period (unless Detroit goes to overtime, then we'll get none).

Every other Caps/Rangers game will be shown nationally in its entirety, though.

So this means Center Ice won't carry it because it's a Versus exclusive? So everyone outside of DC is screwed for Game 1? Ridiculous.

I don't mess with those new fangled computation machines. They'll git inside our brains and make us do things.

Do we KNOW that the game is going to be available on GCL? I sent a message to support 2 days ago and haven't heard back.

Or you could be talking about ****** illegal streams... not exactly looking forward to putting that up on the big screen for a viewing party

Yea, and here I thought the NBC "regional" game (where we got screwed) was BS!! Now, you can't even see your teams damn playoff game, after buying Center Ice??? Just doenst make sence to me.. I dunno, maybe since Versus isnt "showing" the game, unless there's time between west coast games, CI will show it until it switches over?? If it doesnt, there should be hell to pay..

Have you ever been able to get a 50" tv screen "filled up" with a stream coming from a laptop?? I've tried and about the best I can do is (maybe) 3/4 of the screen, with dead space on all 4 sides. Even then it's nothing like an HD telecast.. If anyone has any tips Im all ears..

TV Guide says the game is on CSN

The NHL has a hard on for Chicago, Detroit, Philly, and Pittsburgh, of course we lose out to being broadcasted on Versus, not surprised.

My cable guide still has poker and basketball on CSN.

I'll flip a screw if the game is blacked out.

So where is a good spot to watch the game locally? I'm here from San Jose (Sharks fan of course) and would love to see the Caps/Rangers game at a fun establishment. Caps are my other favorite team! Any suggestions?

Try this: http://hfboards.com/showpost.php?p=28023694&postcount=5

Green Turtle is attached to the Verizon Center and Bar Louie and Clyde's might as well be if you want to be in the middle of it all without actually going to the game.

If you're in Arlington I'd recommend ragtime restaurant near the courthouse metro station good caps game specials and food

Well, it "appears" that Center Ice will be carrying games that Versus can't cover.. Least that's what my DirecTV guide is showing now.. Yesterday afternoon (tuesday) all the CI channels were blank for upcoming games..

Yes. Because it involved the NY market.

Sorry but don't think more people are interested in Det./Phx than NY/DC

Heck most people on the West Coast will be working.
