I like this comment.

For some reason I'm starting to really like the Devils. Behind the Caps of course.

From the playoff boards:

"Q: How many Philadelphia Flyers does it take to screw in a light bulb?

A: It doesn't matter, they won't be able to turn the switch on anyway."

Time to bury those chances which were just missed in game 1. If they do that and keep up the intensity, it should not be close.

IIWTorts I would turn to Avery. If their small speedy guy wont try to skate circles around our slower D, he isnt helping much. Avery helped the rags win game 1 two years ago IIRC, and they need a little shakeup in their lineup. Trying to beat us at now our own game may not be the winning formula, so maybe they will try some underhanded methods, like Avery tripping Green or popping Neuvy. I expect one Brads Hendy or Erskine to cut him off at the pass.

Ref seniors are only allowed to post until bedtime. 6pm.

Really want to score the first goal in this game. Unfortunately had to sell my tickets and go to NY for the weekend but I'll be watching in some capacity.

Need another big game (albeit not on the score sheet in game 1) from 19. He was dominant throughout the game in about every facet of the game. 4th line was weak, they need to establish the forecheck .... the other lines feed of that energy and ideally the defenseman are worn down.

tortorella doesnt want avery doing those things. when avery plays, he doesnt do those things anymore. if he does, then he stops playing.

could it be that you want avery in the lineup because you want to see a beat down?

Rangers cant beat us on talent alone, and the boys showed them that grinding out might not work either... I expect to see more physical and a bit more dirtier version of the Rags this time.
3-1 Caps! The Swede with GWG!

I'm expecting the floodgates to open for Semin now that he has broken through. Hat trick + one from Ovie. 4-1 Caps.

they sure will - if you mean shock blocking and metric tons of minutes for the Staal pairing...

I'm expecting the Rangers to target Semin for some physical brutality.

Btw, I think Sturm is useful. Adds depth of experienced and fast 2-way wingers. Had some moments in 1st game and maybe he will send home some rebound after Chimmer's gorgeous slapper or smth =)))

He's not smiling now after all.

As i said on main boards, tonights priority should be protecting Neuvy, i'm sure they will try to run him, get under his skin, etc.

Is it ironic to chant for Avery and then one sentence later say you lost respect for Ovechkin because you think he became dirty?
