Would be nice to see what the Bruins could do without him. It's not like they had to deal with that for the past years, this guy is never hurt. While in the meantime, we had to deal with having our best d-man out of the lineup for quite a while....

ER (special guest star Dr. Recchi)

"Paging Dr. Recchi...paging Dr. Recchi."

Dr. Recchi's Diagnosis..." Condition not as bad as the team and medical staff are saying. Big Z is just trying to take the focus off our poor performance on Thursday night. Z is as healthy as Pacioretty, completely OK."

Chara's not a bad dude. But he made a reckless error in judgment that nearly took a young man's career away. I hope he doesn't play but I don't wish ill will upon him.

All I know is Pleks was giving him fits. And if Pleks keeps it up....easy for PLeks...fake inside go outside, fake outside go in, and keep doing that over and over. I said last year that Chara was a liability and is slow. And last game it just proves it. Chara will continue to degrade as he gets older.

Maybe hes just getting nervous and sweating his nuts out, knowing that he has to come to Montreal sooner or later.

On another note, I'm liking out team. They are calm, they are cool and they aren't *****ing to the media. Thats the difference between their team and ours. They have a excuse everytime they lose. Our guys are showing that the experience that many of them have is a important part of this game.

You guys do realize how completely moronic you look by saying that you hope Chara isn't ok, right? You all were complaining about how the Bruins fans were acting after the Pacioretty incident, but let me tell you... You guys sure aren't any better.

I wish nothing but the best to the classiest, most cleanest player in the NHL, Zdeno Chara.

MAG: Cammalleri: La déshydratation, c'est pas plaisant. Mais je ne suis pas médecin comme Recchi alors je ne vais pas diagnostiquer l'autre club.

That's not the point. Some of you need to start showing some class, or I'll personally make it my goal to permanently remove you. We're not ****ing around here.

It's a conspiracy. The Canadiens organization has a secret mafia and has cozy connections all of the world's most powerful governments so that can take out anyone they want out of the way. Time to bring in the Massachusetts militia!!!

I'd hate to incur the wrath of a mod, but seriously there is no comparison between what has been said here and what we've endured from the B's about MaxPac. There is is a big difference between:

1/ A fan base (or part thereof) hoping that a player is seriously injured and that he deserved to be hit in a way that could have jeopardized his career (intentional or not).

VS

2/ A fan base sarcastically hoping a pivotal player won't be available due to a minor boo boo that we've all suffered from at one point or another.... dehydration because of a virus sucks but it's hardly something that can't be overcome by a couple days bed rest or an IV bag full of salt and water.

I haven't seen anything in this thread indicating that we hope he's paralyzed or permanently incapacitated and unable to play for the rest of his life.

These boards allow fans of all teams to communicate and have a bit of fun. I know the mods have a brutal job here and for the most part you (as a community) do it well. This particular story is particularly amusing to most Hab fans because of the irony and general level of BS that we've put up with B's fans regarding the Maxpac/Chara incident.

You'll probably bomb my username back to the stone age and no one will ever get to read this. I hope not but if so I'll be ok with it.

Did Chara drink a whole bottle of whisky all by himself last night ? Is it why he went to the hospital ? For hydratation injections ?

They just want to add some drama for tonight's game. Chara will probably get another standing ovation.
