Blaťák and Klepiš have won today KHL title as the first Czech players, good for them Because of that I also looked into history of Czech SC winners, which I was not 100% familiar with until now. Quite interesting, for example Neckář is probably one of the luckiest guys in history to win SC, just because of 2 playoff games he got in, but it still counts. After all I decided to make a thread with Czech winners of these 2 most important (yeah I know the importance isn't on the same level) league club trophies and possibly update it when that group expands. Wouldn't mind if it was this june again!
So Kabs and Krejci did it, nice! And there is another cool historical thing - Kaberle brothers as the first Czech born brothers to both win SC in their careers. Congratz.
Roman Hamrlík has new record since yesterday - he's the Czech born player with the most regular season games played (1315) in NHL. He surpassed Bobby Holik with 1314 games played I really hope they win it all this year together with Vokoun. Would be just awesome.
So Dynamo Moskva won KHL this year with Klepiš, Kvapil and Novák on the team. Kvapil passed on Klepiš who scored the only goal of game 7, nice! And Klepiš won his 2nd GC in 2 years, both with different club. Looks like he knows how to pick a team, some contending teams might be interested in signing him for the next season
