Hate that song. They ripped lyrics straight from the song "Teenage Anarchist" by Against Me!. Which wouldn't be so bad if the song wasn't released less than a year ago, and is from the same genre of music. I dunno maybe they meant to do that.
/music rant.... Lets go Caps!
Come on. It's not like there was an attempt to disguise that those lyrics are borrowed. But they aren't really "borrowed"; it seems pretty clear that they're differentiating their mindset from that of Tom Gabel in using those lyrics. That's why he says, "Well I still am, and I still do." Tim's saying that where Tom Gabel has given up on "setting the world on fire," he hasn't. You could say it's a shot at Against Me!. I'm not sure, but it's an overt reference that's used intentionally to make a particular point; it's not that they're ripping off the lyrics.
Regardless I think "Architects" is one of the best songs they've ever written.
I'm not sure if it's the same way with the broadcast, but the stream on NBCsports.com has been playing the same three 15-second commercials for twenty minutes, so you end up seeing each commercial like twenty times.
