As awesome it is to be leading 2-0 Habs can't take anything for granted yet. Suck it up, and the only thing that matters right now is game 3.

The camera stayed on Darren Eliot for a few seconds after Subban walked/skated away after the interview and he was clearly miffed at Subban's answers and sort of rolled his eyes.

Solid effing win and it's interesting how Boston will respond at the Bell given that:

a) It's been a tough place for Boston to win in.
b) Martin gets the matchups he wants.

But stranger things have happened. Still don't know how long AK will be out and if Chara comes back before, we'll have to grind even harder regardless of home ice.

The physicality in this game also made me cringe and don't know if we came out of it fully intact. The types of checks given were monstrous and I'm very curious to see if we're actually being worn down.

Plenty of hockey left.

Seriously, Jacque Martin has an iron grip on this team, without choking their skill. He also has an stone face, reeking of confidence and authority behind the bench.

Almost as good as Commander Adama... :p

who do you want back more for next game, AK or Halpern? I feel like they might both be ready. We are getting killed on faceoffs so Halpern could really help us, but on the other hand AK is just a boss these days. Also, messing with what's working...it's crazy, but we played as perfect a game as one could have expected. So Gomez missed that one check. Overall he had a great game as a part of a unit. I'm torn about how I'd shake things up. I guess first we'd have to see if either will be ready.

What a troll, he is trying to make PK say something dumb but PK just shuts him up and skates away. I love this kid.

That's a good point I wanted to bring up. We are getting absolutely eaten alive at the circle. I would bring in Halpern if only for it but not over AK. At this point, Pouliot is the forward with the least contribution.

Awesome game, just watched it on PVR since I had to work tonight.

Still lots of hockey left, though.

Nah I don't think Pouliot is coasting. You can see him trying out there but nothing's going for him anymore.

2 very nice road games, the boys are turning the other cheek and bringing the intensity and work ethic. Very well coached games. There I said it. But in my defence I never said Martin is a bad coach, I just think he has good assistants.

I am glad Halpern didn't get the call over Weber. Halpern obviously isn't ready and with a lower body injury might as well keep him out. We need speed vs Booins and Weber is much faster than halpern and even scored a goal from good positioning and speed.

Hopefully AK is ready to go next game though, I expect Boston to come out on fire in game 3. I think they learned their lesson and need to just play hockey.

I bet he told White to not get suckered into a dumb penalty next shift. I can't say a bad thing about our coaching this series so far. All personel decisions have been good and the lines have been our best possible lines pretty much no dumb stuff.

I love beating the booins still. It never gets old.

That PK interview on versus is gold. Sums up the mind game between both teams; Bruins whining, stirring things up (Krejci on PK, etc), trying to get all the attention in the media pre and post game, while the Habs are being calm, serious and getting the job done on the ice.

HAHAHAHA, I think he's smiling there. Everytime I think of Horton being on the bruins, I couldn't think of a better team. It's like someone painted an evil face on no matter what expression he makes. Add the jersey and he is a spawn of the team that represents bad in the good vs evil battle.

that pic is hilarious.
