Goon type play makes for good tv ratings for TSN and CBC and the american channels but it is so one dimensional and when it is played against correctly, it has no response. The Habs have played almost a full season without the teams best player and has filled spaces all season and it has to be because of a super coaching job from all three coaches. The Bruins on the other hand are without Chara for one night and have no answer. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!

My bad, some people on the twitter community thought Horton said black instead of blind. I think he said blind.

That's the mindset I like. They recognize the series is far from over and they can't let up just because they have a 2-0 lead.

Last 2 times we won the first 2 games on the road?

96 NYR and '06 CAR

We went on to lose 4 straight in both series.

Calm down.

Boston was up 3-0 last year and lost.

Calm down.
I agree that we shouldn't celebrate too much because it's far from over, but why would what happened 5 years and 15 years ago be relevant with the present series?

I feel the same, but still, Habs need to win two more games. Boston will be better.

This is so bland to the point that I have to wonder if PK is pulling our legs.

It's almost like he's going out of his way to act that way to highlight the differences between the Habs and the Bruins re: the media.

Well I agree completely, but the Habs still have no pressure on them. it is squarely on the Bruins, they are the "Better" team and the team the experts have coming out to of the East to play Vancouver in the Finals.

Habs are levelled headed and know they need 4 to win, not 2.

I'll add that the Carolina series was going pretty darn well until Williams started carving out eyeballs.

Man, Koivu would deserve to play with the group we have now.

Well said.

The coaching and the system deserve a lot of credit. That's what makes the team greater than the sum of its parts. You lose players due to injury, you patch the holes and the system keeps rolling without significant lost in effectiveness.

In a perfect world his team the Ducks meets the Habs in the finals.

I love Koivu, and if he got to make it to the finals and to win or lose against the Habs...I think it would be the pinnacle of his career.
