After some questionable officiating (favoring the Hawks in a couple of situations) in Game 3, could this be a make-up "call" ?

Chicago is down 3-0, and no, this isn't a make-up call, it's the league being its usual ******** self.

I don't know how Seabrook even got up from that hit, it was nasty and he was flying into Seabrook.

Reminded me of Campbell on Umberger years ago

I don't what Seabrook's head/jaw is made of but man his head is getting punished badly lately.

This elbow directly to the jaw was 4-5 games ago.

If Abdo can tone down the cheapshots, I'd want him on the roster. Un gros bonhomme, Benoit would say.

Oh, get this:

the rule did not violate Rule 48, which provides an interpretation that the area behind the net is designated as a "hitting area".
Hahaha so you can target the head ONLY if you are behind the net. What a frappin joke!

Sorry, double post *facepalm*

Man, this league is not making any message clear.

Downie on Lovejoy tonight:

Kuntiz elbow on Gagné:

But these will go unpunished obviously, because no players seemed to be injured.

They both will get suspended imo. 2 games each.

You see Downie clearly jump and the extension of the elbow by Kunitz.

Other than the Habs/Bruins series the rest of the playoff series this year really haven't been very interesting.. A Wings/Canuck series should be great hockey though..

Downie hit isn't suspend-able. They just set the precedent by letting Torres off.

The Downie hit was like the Torres hit behind the net. Both were head hunting, the precedent was the defenseman must be aware of his surroundings is why they didn't suspend Torres. Because they didn't suspend Torres, Downie figures he has a free shot the very next day, these players keep up with NHL news.

It's the leagues fault. They are encouraging this.

lol Kunitz is a total moran for doing that. I mean, really? Plus it's on Gagne who has a history of concussions.. He'll get 2 games.

Downie won't get any because it wasn't a hit to the head. He should have gotten a 5 in-game.

Gotta love the Flyers, not only didn't they play Bobrovsky cause he was horrible in game 2 but they didn't even dress him preferring to dress Leighton instead

Will that franchise ever get a good goalie to rely on?

Lets offer them Ramo for Giroux.

Next year we have
Giroux Pleks Cammy
Pacioretty Gomez Gionta
Pouliot Eller A Kostitsyn
Moen DDH White

They are going to laugh in our faces. Giroux IMO is the best player on that team

If Downie didn't jump I would've said that it was a good hit.

Seabrook is probably the one player in the league that's gotten the most hits to the head in recent history.

Wiz knocked him out when he was on the Ducks also.

Yea add Ramo (only if he signs) + 1st + Desharnais. And they'll consider it.
