If there is an opportunity to get Stamkos then it should be taken. Simply that. Realistically it won't happen, but on the slim possibility, of course the Senators should send an offer sheet.

Crazy idea. No chance Tampa wouldn't match...and he picks Ottawa because ?

We need a goalscorer pretty bad, but RFA isn't a real option since teams will match on skilled players in virtually every case.

I voted no, but only because I don't want to give up 4 first rounders to get him. The idea that we wouldn't do it for fear of a retaliatory offer sheet is just stupid. If another GM is stupid enough to run his team based on past offer sheets then let him do it, he will end up running his team into the ground.
