Yeah Holmgren got lucky with Bob, he wanted to go into this season with boosh and Leighton. Unnacceptable for a team with plans to win the cup.

No doubt, and the one who mislead the team about his health is now being rewarded over the rookie

One thing that irritates me is people's belief that Miller is a big factor. Yes he is a great goalie but that's not the problem.

Since Jan 1st I have watched virtually every game, and no matter which team they played against, Philly somehow forgot how to score goals.

No netfront presence. Shots constantly blocked. Hesitant and wrong decision making, mostly involving passing or looking for perfect plays when shooting would net a sure goal.

I donno how a team with the exact same personell can score in buckets in first half, then forget it in 2nd half and POs. Have they all gone crazy?

Whatever it is, if it isnt solved fast, it'll be a quick exit this year.

I am fine with Boosh starting, but what message does this send to him ???? You earned the start, but deep down we think we need Uncle Five Hole ready to go when you suck ??

That poor net in warm up !!!!

Maybe they have figured out Miller's weakness is Five hole and they want the boys confident after warm up ??

Can't imagine any other explanation to this than Bobs watching the game with Reese and analyzing Sabres' offense.

Maybe it's kind of like a threat from Lavi?

Lavi: "Lose, and HE goes in."
Rest of team: "......****ing hell"

Enough of the Leighton misery.

Thank God we don't have Kyle Wellwood, or else he'd have an excuse to have to score a bunch for boxes of Tastykakes...

Hilarious though, good work. I hope that's what happened.

Ya pretty sure that is official. While on this thought does anyone else think it might be good to see eric wellwood, or is he just too inexperienced?

I don't think Leighton is as bad as he's getting credit for here.

He's also only played 1 NHL game this year, and he sucked ass at it. So not only does he blow, he hasn't faced NHL shooters in months. Being a good AHL goalie does not automatically make one capable of playing in the NHL.

Our Team D best be ready to protect the goalie tonight.

Any Sabre that gets close to Boosh needs to be planted on their a$$, quickly and legally.

Simple answer to stop us worrying about goaltending. Score. And often. Looking at you Jeff!!!

He also came in cold off the bench just returning from an injury in game 5 at Boston last year and didn't let in a goal.

Lavi's probably just more comfortable bringing Leighton off the bench in this situtation then Bob if worse comes to worse

I mean I think Leighton sucks but I'm more upset about Bob being out. Why change what we've been doing all season?

I think the game goes into OT..we are overdue. I hope the Flyers would win if they did go into OT but I have my concerns with Boosh letting in a softee...

There's a few differences. Gagne and Pronger were around to help in the defensive end then, and he didn't have a bad back. He also hadn't been sitting out of the NHL for 5 months.
