4-3 Spokane.

Chiefs 1:39 5 on 3 kill.

Tie game...

Announcers estimating Cowen has played 12 of 17 minutes in 3rd. Really impressive tonight. Skating, agility, decision making all very good.

This is quite the close game, classic hockey playoffs, and my goodness that was close, great save by reid.
Likely going to go to overtime but maybe Spokane can set up a play to score in the last bit.

EDIT: Well going to overtime, hopefully Spokane can put this one away and win the series.

EDIT: Levko Koper scores and the Spokane Chiefs win the series 4 games to 2, congratulations to both teams for making it a hell of a battle.

Spokane vs Portland, very good for Cowen's development, basically facing some potential high end NHL players.

Medicine Hat vs Kootney

Still hoping for Medicine Hat vs Spokane

Loving what I hear about Cowen during the playoffs. Seems like he can control games in a way that few can. Hope he can bring that to Ottawa.

sheet son, loving our depth.

Our late rounders have amazing potential. Petersson, Sorenson, Stone, Blood, Grant all looking great.

Sebastian Erixon signs with Vancouver.

Swing and a miss for the insiders. How many strikes is that? I lost count.

So because he signed somewhere else, means we couldn't have been interested?

Pretty sure that info didn't come from an insider, it came from Swedish media or something.

BT you are like the detractor that doesn't know how to detract.

His forearm touched her face. She practically had sex with him.

Well I'm not as well versed in a lot of hockey matters as you guys but why is this good as apposed to coming to the AHL or something over here?

He's going to be coached by the scout that convinced management to take him with a 4th round pick after the kid had not been ranked in Central Scouting and it may have been doubted he'd be drafted at all. Anders Forsberg is our ex scout, responsible for all the Swede picks since 08, came highly acclaimed by Detroit's top European scout. The fact that we took him with a 4th instead of a 5-7 means we really wanted to make sure to get him and Forsberg was very high. Forsberg also kept head scout Dorion from even seeing this guy because he wasn't playing on any national teams so any viewings they had of him made it pretty obvious who they were watching.

Rundblad played for Forsberg this year and was given preferential PP time. Nothing better than having Sorensen in the hands of the guy that scouted him...he'll know what needs to be done to make him an NHLer. Forsberg also has an interest in making sure the kid is developed properly, just another one for the resume.

Our two Euro scouts each made comparisons to Zetterberg and Havlat. They chose him with high boom/bust potential in mind.

Skelleftea is basically a 2nd farm team..it'll be interesting if Forsberg remains in Skelleftea and more of this goes on. Sorensen may have been advised to switch programs by the Sens.

It was said when we drafted him it would be a long term project, he is just not ready for the AHL. This is the team that Anders Forsberg's coaches, which went to the SEL finals this year with a young defesne corps anyway. So he is in a good system, with the coach that was adamant we draft him while he was our scout last season. He thinks he has serious potential, so he is going to give him every opportunity to succeed. Thats what makes this so great. By the time this contract is up, he hopefully will be ready for the AHL, where he will continue to get great development with hopefully KK.

I can try to find you exact quotes if you don't believe me, but Forsberg has said along the lines he thinks he is a long term project, but is well worth the wait, and that he will be a steal. He is quite high on him. I don't know about some of MoO's stuff, but I have no reason to doubt what he says.

No it's not that I don't believe you I was just wondering where there's a good place to get information.
