... You can see it in the way they celebrated that goal - there's some real chemistry on that Clifford-Richardson-Simmonds line.

No one with the Kings will admit it, but Doughty wasn't in the best shape coming into camp and then suffered a concussion. Both contributed to a sub par first half for Doughty.
Once he recovered from the concussion and was back in top shape, he became the Norris trophy defenseman that we all wanted to see start the season. He was back in the scond half.
Doughty needs to grow up this offseason and come to camp ready to win a Norris trophy next season. The Kings should be ready for a run next season. Pacific division title and a top seed should be the minimum next season. Kings should be set for a cup run next year.
This team that Lombardi has built comes to play in the playoffs. Clifford is the man. The Kings bottom six have been outstanding so far in the series. Including Westgarth.
I knew it and I believe you and a few others did too (the concussion and the lingering effects anyways). I know I took a little heat for saying so.
I agree with the DD comments and the DL comments as well. Westy is playing his game though admittedly not as well as I thought he would but who knows how well he can become? Clifford is so much more than I thought he would be. I knew about his character and even his grit but I always found his hands suspect. Boy was I wrong.
Lewis is so much more than I thought he would be at the NHL level already and to me he has made Richie redundant.
Couldn't agree more about next season, we are right on track. Not that this season is over just yet
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
NOW LET'S GO OUT THERE AND SHUT THESE SHARKS DOWN!
SHARKS DIE WHEN THEY STAND STILL, LETS GIVE EM NOWHERE TO GO BOYS!!!

I agree. Thats the difference and why the team looks like a legit contender. The top 6 forwards are capable of playing like grinders and letting the studs on D generate the offense and all the lines play the same way right now. 4 lines that play the same consistant hardnosed hockey with 4 gamechanging D men on the ice at most times gives you a great chance to win in the playoffs.
