Now that we are in the middle of the series and things are heating up, can you say something nice now and really mean it? I'll start:

Teemu Selanne is a beast and isn't playing like a 40 year old at all. Kudos to him.

Rangers never give up. Lundqvist is a beast. If Callahan was in the lineup this could look different than it is. I actually like the Rangers alot.

Washington's defense is very solid. Their new system is much better geared towards playoff hockey, and Ovechkin puts in about as much effort on the ice as any player I have ever seen.

Roloson is rather spry for a 41 year old, and is able to get up and back in position rather quickly after flopping to the ice from a small breeze.

I still have nothing bad to say about the Lightning. I wish we had some sort of rivalry there, but we don't. I don't hate anyone on the team at all. Maybe that's why this series has been a little meh to me. I mean come on, you CAN'T hate St. Louis or Gagne, and I'll always love Malone.

It's funny, I've noticed two of these threads in the last few weeks. I posted one a couple years ago, and after 75 or 80-something posts it was locked because some mod said discussion needed to be kept in the series threads or something. That's still one of only two threads I've ever started.

Their building is rather quiet, oh, and old.

I like that.

Kings fans are still the best. Doughty is a monster. The Kings have by far been the better team in this series. I wish the Sharks could show a fraction of the heart that was on display by L.A. in Game 2, dominating a game in which they were missing their top two centers.

Yes...though a bit confusing whether Buffalo considers an actual Buffalo to be their mascot or the animal Sabre or the sword Sabre, I was happy to see they have removed the additional confusion of the Slug on their uniform for the Buffalo/Sword combo.

I completely agree with everything in this post. I have nothing against the Lightning.

St. Louis is one angry, determined, and skilled beast of a man.

The Canucks are playing with the poise, toughness and discipline of a championship team. They are a team on a mission. We are looking like a mere speed bump unless something drastic happens tonight.

Mark Recchi's neck beard is coming along quite well. That's about as nice as I can be to the B's for now.
