We're up 3-0 in the series and I'm still scared Chicago is going to come back and win the series.
Chicago was honestly the one team that I thought could beat Van in the first round, but at the same time I wanted Vancouver to go though Chi for prides sake.
Anyways, Chicago is scary and always will be scary.
I think Chicago could've beat: Anahiem, Nashville, LA, San Jose, Phoenix, probably not Detroit.
No. Sorry. If I had the chance, I'd be at Ovechkins' throat. I plain out do not like him.
However, for mostly every other team in the playoffs, I can say something:
Flyers vs. Sabres: Nope. Hate the Flyers, hate every player.
Bruins vs. Canadiens: As much as I try to tell myself Thomas is a choker, he still does pretty god damn good under pressure every time.
Penguins vs. Lightning: Down two 100-pt centers and you're still winning. Pittsburgh's depth never stops surprising.
Canucks vs. Blackhawks: Love Keith, wish he was doing a little bit better this series.
Sharks vs. Kings: I'm not rooting either way, but both teams are just so impressive. Both very good teams.
Red Wings vs. Phoenix: It's insane how every year, Detroit has a legit shot at the Cup, yet still maintains to bring in great young players. Ducks vs. Predators: I've been counting on Nashville to be the sleeper team the entire year. I really think if it weren't for Vancouver, the Stanley Cup Finals would be well within reach for them.
lol has there been one hawks fan in this thread yet?
The Canucks are clearly the favorites to win the Cup this year. They did a good job of putting this team together for the long term, including especially the moves they made over the summer which seemed to address an issue they had in past seasons.
