Ilya Bryzgalov -
JS Giguere -

I think out of the list here, I think Montreal would be interested in 3 forwards such as Pascal Dupuis, Maxim Talbot, and Curtis Glencross. I think the Habs would look to get maybe a Dman like Bieksa, Huskins or Montador and possibly keep Markov and Gill of the list. Wisniewski will be hard to retain, I think he might walk.

What are some of you thoughts of where some of these players will go.

Like some others, I will list the players I think Boston should at least take a look at.

Curtis Glencross
Brad Richards(highly doubtful, but it can't hurt to talk to him)
Ville Leino
Simon Gagne
Tomas Kaberle
Joni Pitkanen
Andrei Markov
James Wisniewski
Kevin Bieksa
Christian Ehrhoff

In reality, they probably only get Kaberle off of that list, but Kaberle and Glencross or Leino is what I am hoping for.

1 D and 1 forward, either re-sign Kaberle or replace him and replace Ryder, I don't think that is too much to ask for

For the Flyers depends on who they bring back or trade out for money but...

Resign Leino

See what it would cost for Cole (Lavvy loves him) and Glencross

Sign Hejda for O'Donnell role

I'll only point out the guys the Bruins should give a call:

Alex Tanguay
Tomas Fleishmann
Brad Richards
Simon Gagne
Tomas Kaberle
Joni Pitkanen
James Wisniewski
Christian Ehrhoff

They have enough supporting cast, time to go get some top-tier talent.

I'd be really surprised if Ryan Jones isn't back in Edmonton again next year.

"I'm not looking for the highest bidder, Edmonton gave me a shot and that is important to me... You know my mind is coming back here next year, and most of the time when a player wants to be somewhere it works out. I guess sometimes it doesn't... but I've said all along I want to be here." - Ryan Jones

I could see us interested in Langbrunner, Jovo (history with Burke) Glencross, Larose (but only one of Larose or Glencross) Richards and Laich.

and maybe a guy like Garon or headberg to backup Reimer as Burke has already said Reimer will be given a shot as #1

I think it's highly unlikely Pens re-sign both Talbot and Dupuis.

Remember, the Sabres now have the richest owner in the NHL who wants to win and doesn't care how much money he spends to do it.

As usual, I don't see the Islanders landing any of the bigger names on the market. I could see them having interest and possibly bringing in the one or two of the following players from that list:

Eric Cole
Scottie Upshall
Zenon Konopka (I think he will be re-signed, in my opinion he already should have been.)
Simon Gagne
Brooks Laich

Roman Hamrlik
Hal Gill
Radek Martinek
Bryan McCabe
Eric Brewer

Second richest. Anschutz has a higher net worth. But point taken.

Buffalo needs two things: (1) Brad Richards, and (2) a right-handed defenseman who can log big minutes and/or play the point on the PP. Guys who'd qualify for the latter, in order of preference (I understand the guys I'm listing can't do all the listed things, but options are limited here):

Wisniewski
Bieksa
Montador
Babchuk

Other mid-tier players I could see them going after:

Michal Handzus: If they miss out on Richards and re-sign Connolly. But it'd have to be for about 1/2 of what he currently makes.
Eric Belanger: Same as Handzus, though I'd sign him to the same deal he has now.
Marty Reasoner: If other things fall through, I could see them signing the Rochester kid on a short-term deal for defense and faceoffs.
Jan Hejda: Could be a good, somewhat under-the-radar signing; Regier drafted him in '03.
Ian White: Former Flame? Yep. That's often good enough for Regier (See Lydman, Montador, Leopold, et al.). He's a righty, too.

Other players I could see them pursuing to fill out their lineup:

Max Talbot: To be a 4C and PKer.
Pascal Dupuis: Killed the Sabres when he played for ATL; Pegula has connections to Pittsburgh.
Zenon Konopka: Local boy. Could be a 4C faceoff whiz and pugilist.
Sean Bergenheim: Sabre killer. Fourth-line winger with speed to burn.
Chris Higgins: 28 pts in 62 games this year. Not bad. Sabre killer. Could play the 4th line.
