I'm not even surprised to hear this kind of crap anymore. Either the team is filled with complete morons or there's just something in the water in Boston.
Apparently the water in Boston doesn't hydrate you either
The Bruins mentality is the equivalent of the hater mentality : "all that the others have or do is insert any swear word ". Julien seems to be with it, therefore, of course, he will turn the Pacioretty saga into derision. Habs fans aren't haters like Bruins fans, that's what Gill said in La Presse, and he's from Boston and used to hate the Habs !
Good, let Julien talk. I'll love hearing the whining and excuses especially if Boston is eliminated. Then when Q-Ball is out of a job he can always get a job gabbing like a Jean Perron-esque washup on RDS or something. He and Jack Edwards and other Bruin hypocrites can cry in their beers about it instead of looking at what their team did wrong. Meanwhile we're without Pacioretty and our top two d-men and you don't see our ****ing players and management wearing it like a badge like they would. Julien was never this emotional with us. Must've gotten tainted by that usual Boston insecure boorishness. He's almost as whiny and hypocritical as Boudreau. They're the Rex Ryans of the NHL but not as fat and way balder.
I guess Gomez had no idea Kelly was on the ice either, or that he was near the net.
It was a stupid penalty to take, that being said Julien made himself look pretty stupid to compare the plays. And to go even further, I guess one would say as in the Chara-Pacioretty hit, the NHL would say it was a hockey play, no suspension.
Didn't Kelly score an empty net goal? Great comparison.
I remember feeling bad for Julien after he got fired in NJ with a few games remaining while bringing his team to a 2nd place finish. I thought it was a ridiculous decision despite not knowing much of what was going on.
But since joining the Bruins, I don't know what has gotten into him, but he really has become an idiot.
I mean, even if he deeply believes that it's a similar situation, why in God's name would you want to bring that up??
This goes back to me believing the Bruins simply have no leadership, and it starts with the coach.
His comments aren't relevant to anything. If the Habs want to win one for Max, this is the one. And it's done by blocking shots, taking away the neutral zone and forcing their D to carry, and continuing their strong skating and one-touch passing. Stay out of the box and keep it simple. Bruins cannot beat that style.
Good thing Kelly has Dr. Recchi supervising his gruesome recovery. First advice would be to stay away from the movies, and twitter of course.
On a more serious note, it is of course a really dump thing to say, but the trash talking between games makes the NHL POs a bit more intresting than the SEL POs.
I guess Claude can predict the future by watching it in his shined head's reflect and saw that Kelly COULD have been killed by Gomez. We all know that things that COULD are worst that things that actually HAPPENED...

Wouldn't worry much about that, you've seen the B's PP right?
It looked like it was more of a trip than a shove I thought. Gomez put out his stick in case of a pass and the guy stepped on it. He probably got a bit of a shove too. That kind of play happens all the time. How Julien could compare it to the Chara hit, I don't know.
Boston has officially become my most hated team (sorry Toronto) Completely classless organization
Colour me crazy but I don't see the problem with CJ's comments.
CJ's comments sort of acknowlege that Chara made a play and it wasn't accidental. The differences in effect/outcome are incidental and are partly caused by the place on the ice, the obstacle etc...
The missing peice of info is whether or not Gomez would make such a hard play in such a dangerous spot... like Chara did. Everyone expects hard plays in front of the net. Not everyone expects that sort of aggression around the boards (some guys let up). Could be a culture thing... players have to always expect the worst now.
The fact that CJ is still talking about it reveals that neither the B's, nor Chara have put that incident past them. When you're over the line you need other people to come over to your side.... helps in justifying the normalcy of your actions.
In any event this is now a mountain but should be no bigger than a mole hill.
Thats like saying a driver that slightly bumps the back of your car after failing to stop completely in absurdly snowy/icy conditions is as much of an idiot as a drunk guy that fails to see you are stopped at train passage and rams your car from behind at 120kmh, pushing you towards a 100kmh going freight train which you then collide.
