Hawks win 7-2

Thought this board is big enough to have a PGT now. Great game, what a difference bolland makes.

Great game tonight. Where was this team all year? Now can our boys do it again on Thursday?

Well before Bollands injury we had seen signs of this team (8 game streak)

Whoa! We get post-game threads now!

EDIT: Way to show that we can hang with the President's Trophy winners. Also, good coaching by Q to spread our lines out.

Bickell led the team in hits. Did he finally get the memo?

Stalberg also had 6, including a massive one on bieksa that led to bieksa-rage

That last shift by Stahlberg was awesome. He was hitting everyone and anyone in sight.

I said it before but Bieska is tough when Scott isn't around. I hate Bieska. No respect for him at all.

Bickell, brouwer and stalberg need to do nothing but hit. Scott needs to fight someone. I feel better having Scott out there.

Post... game... thread? Wut iz dis??

But seriously, AMAZING game. Finally a spark of genius from these boys.

As much as I'd like to take it to Game 7 and win... at least we didn't get swept.

Problem is no one will drop them with Scott

You saw Glass and Bieksa tonight not willing to man up

I'll say this..here is the line in the sand. Great win tonight BUT if the hawks are to bring the series back to the UC the big boys (JT, PK and MH) need to step up. Sharp was, well, sharp tonight so that was good to see.

Bickell also had a great goal to start the game....Stalberg still uses is speed well and is able to cycle the puck okay. Brouwer definitely should just focus on hitting, but all three need to bring the body again. Stalberg should plaster one of the sedins, edler, hamhuis or kesler, he's got the speed to do it.

That last stalberg shift was great.

One game at a time. Hope the Hawks beat the living #$*&!@ out of those guys on Thursday.

Did Stalberg hit Bieksa? I thought Bieksa was "defending" someone else.

Then in a blowout game like this he needs to realize what he's there for and take the 5 min penalty and ragdoll the hell out of someone. Take the instigator, take the suspension, know why you are on this team.

He hit Bieksa, then as Bieksa was coming up behind him, Stalberg hit someone else. Then Bieksa jumped Stalberg.

But Bieska runs around thinking he's the toughest one out there. Prove it and drop em with Scott. I loved what Scott did against Vancouver a couple years ago - skated by the Vancouver bench and told them hed take anyone on. The only person to man up? Bolduc. Bieska, Rypien, Hordichuk and the rest of them wouldn't. What happened to Bolduc? Youtube it. One of the greatest beatdowns in recent memory. Heck, Scott even fixed his hair before he rearranged Bolducs brains.

Bieska talks the talk, but refuses to walk the walk. Gutless, pathetic excuse for a man, let alone hockey player.

Watching the replay and Tanner Glass seriously looked like he needed to change his shorts after Scott dropped em.

I thought I was seeing brooms in my dreams last night, turns out they were mops.

Good to see that the boys reminded Greasy Bob that he's still Chicago's *****.

Not exactly the smartest thing to do when the status of Seabrook is unknown.

But I agree, he should have been more proactive in dealing out some physical damage to Glass and Torres.

Well done, Chicago. I'm rootin' for ya (as a Leaf fan lol). Bolland made a huge difference.

Tanner Glass knows that Scott would do to him what he did to Bolduc a couple seasons back. But Scott was mad enough tonight to do spme real damage.

Gotcha. 2 hits in a corner for Stalberg. A memo was definitely sent before the game. Brouwer also came out hitting, 8 for the game tying Bickell for game high.
