Just a thought. If Kelly is out for Seguin, I think we could see Caron fill in for Thornton on the 4th line so he can also kill penalties.

Lucic Krejci Horton
Marchand Bergeron Recchi
Seguin Peverley Ryder (I do not like that line though)
Paille Campbell Caron

I don't love Kelly. I think he's a fourth liner. But I hope he plays.

EDIT:

And if Kelly were out I'd love to see:

Lucic Krejci Horton
Marchand Bergeron Seguin
Recchi Peverley Ryder
Paille Campbell Caron

but that wouldn't happen.

I dont think Kelly is NOT going to play.....the dude is just probably bruised up and could use the extra day rest.

This was my prediction I sent to myself before the series started:

win
win
lose
lose
lose
win
win

So far it is completely inverse.

Kelly probably just resting, took a beating the other night, got hit pretty hard and took that big slash from Subban on the empty net goal

Not that Chiarelli would say it but it doesn't seem like he's going to miss any time. Just have to wait and see. If he is out, Tyler needs to come out smoking like he has after previous benchings.

Julien will probably dress a 7th D (Hnidy) and double shift Thornton....

Yesterday, he also said the Hawks have no chance of winning game 4. That's why he is on TV and radio, and no longer in the NHL.

Looch-Krech-Horts

Marchand-Bergeron- Seguin

Ryder-Pevz-Caron

Paille- Campbell-Rex/Thornton/Kelly

Top 2 lines have a legit shot at scoring every time they are on the ice.

3rd Line plays a few minutes here and there, have a decent shot at scoring.

4th Line is more of a shutdown line if kelly plays with soupy and pie head. But you could also go with either rex or sugar.

What do you guys think???

I'd rather double shift Campbell as he possesses the same attributes as Kelly, just with a little more snarl.

If Kelly doesn't play this means Recchi sees normal PK minutes which is something NONE of us want. Be careful what you wish for.

does anyone have the exact # of pk minutes kelly played last game? It seemed to me that Claude rolled out:

1. Bergy-March Money

2. Pie Head-Soupy

and kept rotating between the 2.

I may be wrong, but i didn't see a whole lot of Pevz and Kelly

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, regardless of the result of this game it wont determine who will definitely win or wont

I hope the Bruins win, but in no way would that give me confidence they will take the series.

Kelly played 2:16 SH, with Peverley. Marchand led the B's with 3:04. Paille and Bergeron only played a minute and a half each. Campbell played 2:49.

Kelly was shipped to Boston, may have a fractured bone, but nothing to keep him out of next game.

The Bruins went through power-play rushes before the start of practice.

PP1: Chara, Kaberle, Bergeron, Krejci, Lucic.

PP2: Ference, Seidenberg, Peverley, Recchi, Ryder/Marchand.
I wonder why our power play isn't scoring any goals. Oh yeah, maybe its because our two best natural shooters/goal scorers aren't on it. Makes sense.

Agreed, because if the Bruins win tomorrow night, it becomes a best of 3 with 2 games in Boston.

The Bruins will be saddled with the home-ice disadvantage.
