What else is funny? Reading tonight's GDT in both Sabres and Philly's forums ... Now that is entertainment.

I'm elated that this series also seems to finally mark that point where the consensus of Sabres fans on Briere is "wish we could still have him" to "%$#% that little %^&%&^%."

Even though I didn't want him back, I don't think I really felt like I hated him as a player before this series.
I would take that little vampire back on this team in a ****ing heartbeat. I hate how well he plays against the Sabres, but dammit, he's got heart and soul. And great hands.

In a ******* heartbeat.

On the thread topic.

Regardless of whether they are the Broad Street Bullies of old or not. Coming into this series they fully expected to push us around. Not only has that not happened but we have given as good or better than we've gotten.

I think Philly is a little shocked that they haven't been able to intimidate us.

He was a bum in Phoenix

Philly's forecheck has intimidated us plenty...

The best part about all this, is that it was Miller in game 1 who set the tone when he went after Richards. You see your goaltender and team-voted MVP doing that, and it just fires everyone up.

Missing the point.

Philly hasn't been able to physically intimidate us.

When their forecheck is effective its due to their speed not physical intimidation.

if only Lindy had done the decent thing, taken notice of what's said so loud and so often on this forum, and benched the hopeless Miller for Enroth - hell, even with Lalime in nets, we've had wrapped this up in four - what do we get now, courtesy of Miller and his dubious goatlending "talents" - entirely unnecessary games five and six - and everyone's gassed for round two - duh, thanks, Ryan

this really doesn't need the "facetious" smiley, does it ???

And our exceedingly frustrating inability to clear the puck from our own end.

Count me in as one who is enjoying it. Seeing the Flyers get pushed around all year has been a pleasure.

I have no ****ing clue what you are all talking about. Every board i've been posting on (flyers fan here) have been claiming how soft this team is.

Carter-soft
Richard-was gritty, now soft
hartnell- no longer that gritty
briere-soft
leino-soft
giroux-undersized, has a mean streak though
versteeg-ehhh

There is not much real gritt in this lineup. Maybe the new JVR, Coburn, Mez, Pronger. That's about it.
