Only reason he would be blamed is if he lets in a lot of softies.

The defense has not helped Brust this entire series, so for Lehner's sake I hope he's ready for that.

Strong performance would go a long way transitioning into next season....gotta earn it with the Bingo faith it seems, guess it's not a bad thing either.

He just needs to prove that he wants it. Go out and take it by the balls and don't let go.

Man, Lehner hasn't played in a while. I guess it's time to see how well he can do under pressure...

I don't know if I've ever heard of a prospect that wants it more. I think he's gotta prove he's worth the hype, that would be my take.

He's here earlier than goaltenders ever are.

I know i must be wrong, but I thought 20 was a minimum age to play in the AHL. I was thinking about that today. Isn't that why Cowen had to go back to the WHL? How can Lehner play if he is only 19?

Greeting from a hotel room in Binghamton, New York! I'm getting properly drunk on some cheap american beer and heading down soon. Any bars I should try after the game? Where do the players usually go?

He was drafted out of Europe...rules don't apply.

The rules would apply to Landeskog though, as he was drafted out of the CHL.

Lehner was drafted out of Europe, whereas Cowen was draftet out of the CHL. The 20-year-old-rule only applies for players drafted out of the CHL if I'm not mistaken

this really could be the opportunity that the kid needs to turn this entire year around. he was thrown to the wolves a little too early, had some hiccups, got stuck behind brust, but now at the end of it all if he comes in at desperation time and backstops us to a long playoff run, it will be HUGE for his development and HUGE for this organization.
