Habs/Bruins announcer

I am watching the game on Versus and the PBP is very good. Anybody have any idea who he is?

He works for Versus and as far as the main sport he broadcasts is baseball, you can tell he was getting excited because hes used to baseball.

Hadn't heard Kenny in a while until tonight, had me wondering what ever happened to his brother Al who used to announce as well.

He's the Rangers radio PBP guy. I recognized him most from doing NFL games. He actually is very good. Loved him tonight.

I think he might have been referring to Marv Albert, his father. They have practically the same voice.

Kenny Albert is the son of Marv Albert. Al Albert is his uncle.
He is the Rangers radio PBP guy and also does baseball and football for Fox. Pretty sure he substitutes on Knicks games for MSG as well.
He is an excellent no BS announcer and I was glad to hear him on VS tonight.

OT, what ever happened to Al Albert? He used to do Nets games when I was a kid and he was great.

I don't mind Emrick, but only in small doses. His voice starts to annoy me after a while. The rest you mentioned are just average.

This Kenny Albert guy is a goofy looking dude, but he's a solid announcer.

Kenny Albert is doing a bang-up job in this playoffs, now that Versus gave Joe Beninati the boot

The other good thing that could happen to NBC Sports is Phoenix moves so they can put Dave Strader on nationally. That's the best hockey announcer they employ

Or Gord Miller. He sounds like a pre-teen going through puberty when he does his "Oh, what a save by...!".

I always liked Dave Randorf, wonder if he'll ever get a shot at doing NHL games.
