Nope, one Saturday, then Tuesday (Game 7 would be a Wednesday tho, so those are your back-to-back games you are thinking about)

Don't know why people are jacking on Spacek, sure he didn't play his best game, but he wasn't horrible.
Thomas made key saves at very crucial times. Price did it during the first two games, Thomas has done it in the last 2.
Everybody on both teams made mistakes, some more costly than others.
To me, it was goaltending and the support cast. Even if DD and Eller were great tonight, their line couldn't convert anything. Chris Kelly and his linemates were great and it shows on the scoresheet.
Last year, Lappy, Moore, Pyatt and Moen had 11G between them, 4 of them were GWG. Sure, it was over 19Games, but they contributed greatly for us.

This year, Halpern, Moen, Pyatt, DD and Eller haven't contributed. Darche is the only won that scored, but only once.

Not that I disagree with you but wasn't it Sopel looking around for it (in his skates)?

I agree with the Moen thing. He is garbage in a top 6 roll. Patch injury is hurting really bad right now.
All in all we have one good top six line, the making for a great shut down bottom six line while the rest just continues to be the awkward shuffling it has been all year. The only time we had two scoring lines going at once was with Patches...

This team has an amazing core. They will not accept defeat on saturday. Nothing I saw today caused me to lose faith. It was a tough loss, but Boston played with guts. Now it's time to gut them.

I don't know... I'm already mad about the loss and then I saw things like Price is no Halak.. It's just frustrating. Its like we already loss the series or something. Its ****ing 2-2 and some people are trying to blame Price already.

Price let in 9 goals in 4 games.

Halak let in 13 goals in his first 3 games against the Caps.

Some people just need to calm down and realize that its 2-2 in the series.

I admire your enthusiasm. However, I don't see how its possible for Montreal to bounce back. This is just too much of a choke.

Oh well, take the better draft pick, get a healthy Pacioretty, Markov and Gorges next year, and purge all the ******* off this team and look forward to October.

That's my whole point.

That is Martin's fault. He makes the line combinations.

After the first two giveaways that led to goals, Moen should have glued to the bench.

Instead, Martin rewarded him with Power Play time at the end of the game and in return, Moen rewarded him with the turnover that led to the 3 on 1 break.

Idiot Martin.

Some of the good I though DDH and Eller played well. I am more nervous about Gomez. Eller is going to be getting much better and next year Pacioretty will be back. The question is what will the D look like? I want the D to get younger and quicker. If this team can move the puck quicker to the forwards this team can become real good.

Wrong.

Sopel hits Kelly as he's passing the puck out front - he's as deep in his own zone as it's possible for him to be. Spacek had gone down to block the pass and slid backwards, then decides to chase Peverly around the net rather than getting in front. I guess there's a chance that he was sliding too fast to recover, but when he gets up, he should not be skating around the net as he did. Either way, he wasn't where he should've been.

There's a lot of mistakes made on that last goal. I can forgive Spacek for it considering his play on the 3 on 1. However, that doesn't excuse the other two goals he was on the ice for tonight and his piss-poor play in general over the last two games.

Let me remind you that last year, game 2 against the Caps, Habs were leading 4-1 to finally lose 6-5. And the next game, he let in 5 goals again.

I have no idea why you brought Halak into the conversation. Sure Halak was brilliant when he was ON last playoffs... but Price has been stellar when he's on too.

So please, no more Halak talk please. He's golfing right now.
Like I said... I should'nt have brought Halak up. Right now I'm just really really really mad at Price not because of one bad game but because of two in a row. And I know that his save percentage is not that bad but... Everytime we needed a big save he let in a softie and that's why I'm mad.

I remember being mad at Halak after game two in washington but Halak redeemed himself after that by stealing game 5 all by himself... I hope Price could do the same... But I'm not confident he could right now.

Its a 15 game difference. They could all go on a scoring streak. Unlikely yes, but possible. It's the playoffs and anyhting can happen. also Halpern only played this game.

Some people have a short memory.

Gomez, Gionta and Darche had 5 points playing together.

If Boston wins in 6, do we need to blow the team up ala Gainey?
