Let`s just be careful about assigning blame to Luongo. This was a major collapse from all involved. The defense left him high`n dry. I would say `let`s start Schneider`, but c`mon, it`s not our goaltending, it`s everything else.
Keith out worked our entire team the past 2 games.
That's all this boils down to. Desire.
Of the 3 positions, the forwards are playing the worst. They are defensively and offensively letting us down. Defense is also a mess but I think they feel let down by poor support from up front.
I feel sorry for the goalies. They haven't been great but no where near that bad either.
Wow, Game 6 was AWESOME. Schneider played great, the Twins potted 4 goals each and combined for +12 each and the 'Hawks ate crow at the United Centre.*
*note: This game hasn't happened yet, how did the PGT happen first?

Please don't blame Luongo, when we win it's because Luongo stood on his head, or played okay (game two), when we lost the entire team in front of him played like ****
Two day break will be good for the team. One day to get over the shock and another to realize they have a perfect opportunity to respond and move on to the next round.
If I were the Hawks, I'd be pissed about the break. The last thing they need is the Canucks getting a day off to get out of this fog they're in mentally before the next game.
EFFORT from both forwards and Defence in all categories especially along the boards
Block shots
Forecheck Hard
Backcheck like your ass is on fire
Play physical, make them scared of having the puck
i have a really hard time seeing the canucks reverse the momentum and winning game 6
vigneault will make almost no bold lineup changes, will make few tactical adjustments, will keep the sedins away from bolland and overplay his matchups, will continue to play rome, glass, bieksa and torres into the ground, and won't bench anybody if the game gets out of hand to send a message that his top players aren't performing
This series could be over right now. The Canucks eeked out a couple victories that could have easily gone the other way. Imagine the President's trophy team losing in 4 or 5 games in the 1st round?
I still don't see them losing 2 more in a row but it does look like Markus Naslund passed the torch onto our core group. If the Canucks don't find a way to win one of the next 2 games you may as well move the team to Seattle.
I'm not convinced you can go back to Luongo at this point. The weight on his shoulders at this very moment dwarfs anything he's ever seen in his life before, Olympics included. He's been hung out to dry over the last couple games and isn't the reason for the losses but it's the coaching staff's job is to spark these guys and putting in Schneider is one of the few cards they have to play.
Tambellini better get his game legs ready - The Hawks speed is too much for Tanner Glass right now and the change needs to be made.
It couldn't happen, could it? The Canucks do always find a way to one-up themselves...

P.S - My keyboard isn`t working properly.
The apostrophe key seems to function
I would agree, goalotending could hav been better but not hte reason we lsot these last two.
We have to win one of the next two, does no one here believe this team can do that?

Reason: went to edit, too many typos after too many beers. Conclusion- not worth it
