Bruce Boudreau to 105.9, on MSG crowd: "Our building's a lot louder..., but it's not that loud in there. It's reputation is far better than the actual building. I mean, it's nothing."

Maybe it's just me, but you might not want to disrespect one of the few franchises that keeps the NHL out of the red when it comes to revenue. There is way too much fat in ears to hear anything but the dinner bell anyway.

What an *******. Let's see the Caps without Ovechkin and then compare buildings, shall we?

Not only that but i'm pretty sure the Garden was noticeably louder than Bandwagon Arena down in Washington anyway.

The worst coach in the NHL, and quite easily. Anyone could pull wins out of their ***** with that lineup.

He probably has that reaction because there were tense times in the game(after the caps tied it at 2 and the beginning of the third everyone was kind of on a downer because that goal was waved off to finish the second), but when the rangers scored that place was ROCKING.

To be fair some nights during the regular season the Garden sounds like the Rock or worse, the Coliseum.

Maybe the fat is seeping in to his ears now?

We need a good ol Bruce v Torts bash.

Capitals+Bruce= 0 cups. 1 playoff series win in 4 years. Dunno what he has to be so cocky about.

Of course their building seems louder, they have an idiot blowing a horn every five seconds at the Verizon Center.

The fans at MSG don't have to resort to such gimmicky garbage.

He's an idiot, how can you disrespect a franchise who has consistently sold out games for years, even when we were horrible. The Ranger fans are loyal unlike Caps fans. Remember the two years after the lockout when they packed Verizon Center with 10 or 11,000 fans.

Not like I had any respect for Bodreau to begin with, but I was quite staggered at what a poor hockey coach he is when watching the 24/7 series earlier this year.

I mean, he came off as knowing virtually nothing about the strategic qualities of the game. It was both comical and sad.

Hes consistently had one of the most talented rosters in the league for years now and has been able to do nothing with it come playoff time.

He also apparently has a hearing problem as well.

Poor guy.

Lol what is he talking about? I was there and while there were times where it got a little quiet, when Prospal and Dubinsky scored the roof was gonna come off the place. In Washington, that crowd was extremely quiet especially in game 1 until they scored.

Another thing too, even after the 2nd Washington goal the fans started a LGR chant right before the faceoff. Let's see the Washington fans do that.

In Game 4, if anyone knows someone with tickets behind the Caps bench, can you tell them to print out a massive cheeseburger and just tape it to the glass behind their bench? I think that would be hilarious.

MSG isn't the loudest place a lot of nights. But it has the reputation, it's the World's Most Famous Arena, the Rangers/MSG have long and impressive histories. Nobody can deny playing at MSG is intimidating and has a different feeling than playing in other buildings. The energy level will need to be ridiculous on Wednesday though, hopefully there will be more towels because I've always found that very intimidating for opposing teams and super BA.

I will be there Wednesday and I think we need "Fat Pig" chant. Or something similar. And loudly to get through those fat engorged ears of his.

He's a moron him and his entire team are easy to get off their game. Keep it up Rangers. Fans just prove this guy wrong. His arena is loud when the jumbotron tells people to cheer. Anyone else notice the Caps fans boo the weakest things too? Like when they get called for icing/offsides.

I was there on Friday, and yes, they are loud and the atmosphere is quite honesty, amazing. But take away Ovy, and let's see how loud they really are.

The Garden rockin' yesterday, and I wasn't even. But you could tell on TV, the LGR chants were awesome, and the chants during the goal song were even better (although I think a microphone was close by, cause I could clearly here one or 2 specific people.)

But you give us a playoff atmosphere, give us a reason to make some noise, and we're as loud and as crazy as any team, outside of maybe Montreal.

Screw that fat load.

Boudreau's master plan:

Team is tied or down a goal: Put Ovechkin-Backstrom-Semin together.

Team is up in the game: Split the big 3 up, and mix them together with the multitude of average players that are lucky to put up 30 points without said 3.

What a genius.
