This. The odds are only that of a team who needs to win two games in a row. If you were looking at it when they were down 3-0, it would be a lot less probable, but they've already won 2 games, making their current situation a lot more statistically possible.

its better to experince adversity early, thats what the canucks are facing right now. win game 6, its over, they excercise the demons, get rest, and ready for round 2. lose, then game 7 its 50/50.

While true, it still means Vancouver would've had to lose 4 games in a row. While that may seem like a forgone conclusion after the last two games, I really don't see the Canucks showing up like they have the last two games. Their backs are against the wall now, just like Chicago's after Game 3.
