The fact that he intercepted the puck and also beat Rinne with a back hand was pretty killer too.

Bobby's was better. He deked through a guy who's knees weren't so injured he could hardly skate. Plus he stayed on his feet the whole time.

Good thing I didn't see this until the morning, or else I would have busted early.

The funny thing is if Ovechkin scored that goal Ryan scored last night the post count on this thread would've reached it's limit by 1 hour.

Ryan goes 1 vs. 3 against a Vezina candidate and a Norris candidate (Weber) on that play and comes out ahead.

Sheer brilliance. I was watching the game on my own, lying on my bed. Saw the goal and just had to applaud to it. So soft hands and effortless dangling by Ryan. Mario couldn't do it better imo.

Sickest goal i've seen in a long long time. Really nice clean dekes. It's too bad Weber lost his stick tho..

Look at Weber though he stopped skating which gave Ryan a chance, what a lazy play.

Personally, I think Ryan's move is better. Not only does Ryan deke Legwand out of his pants twice compared to Lemieux's one deke but the timing that had to take of dodging both hits is incredible. Also, Ryan's backhanded was way slicker than Lemieux's backhander along the ice around the goalie.

Great goal but Legwand lost his stick going for it at first so not really a deke IMO, and was just trying to get in his way on the second move. He didn't have a stick and didn't have much of a chance anyway. I think Rinne would have had a better shot at stopping it if it was a clean breakaway. Don't flame me. Just an opinion.

Lemeuix used to dangle like this alot and not score or put a couple in.
But to pull off something like that in this era is something special.

This is a great series btw for anyone who hasn't been watching it.
