2005-2006 Carolina Hurricanes/Edmonton Oilers: Oilers because I wanted to see the Cup back in Canada.
2006-2007 Anaheim Ducks/Ottawa Senators: Senators for the same reason as Edmonton.
2007-2008 Detroit Red Wings/Pittsburgh Penguins: DRW. Always had a great deal of respect for them as a Franchise.
2008-2009 Detroit Red Wings/Pittsburgh Penguins: DRW.
2009-2010 Chicago Blackhawks/Philadelphia Flyers: Flyers, I like a lot of their players and their history as well.

-06: Edmonton: Traditional Canadian team, although I had nothing against Hurricanes either.

-07: Anaheim: Hoped that Teemu would finally win the Cup. And he did. Did he retire...?

-08 and -09: Pittsburgh: My favourite team from Eastern Conference.

-10: Neither, I hated them both.

Flyers-Hated Chi more than Philly.
Pit-Hated Detroit more than Pit.
Pit-" "
Ducks-Ducks are one of my favorite teams.
Oilers-More physical during the series.

3 of those teams had Pronger...

05-06 Hurricanes - I hate the Oilers, and have a few friends who are dedicated Oilers fans.
06-07 Ducks - Getzlaf and Perry were (and still are) two of my favorite players, plus Neids and Selanne.
07-08 Red Wings - Hate the pens.
08-09 Same as above
09-10 Flyers - Been a flyers fan since I was 6, only second to the Canucks.

2005-2006 Carolina Hurricanes/Edmonton Oilers: Oilers, 8th seed if they won I'd have jizzed my pants.
2006-2007 Anaheim Ducks/Ottawa Senators: Ducks, I hate Ottawa and if they won the cup Leaf fans would never live it down.
2007-2008 Detroit Red Wings/Pittsburgh Penguins: The Penguins I wanted to see Crosby get his ring and be the youngest captain.
2008-2009 Detroit Red Wings/Pittsburgh Penguins: Penguins again, I didn't want to see another back to back.
2009-2010 Chicago Blackhawks/Philadelphia Flyers: Flyers I always liked Chris Pronger and there defense core.

06: oilers, although i was fairly neutral. I was mostly rooting for Rod Brind'amour and a 7 game series (so, I won).
07: ducks. they were one of those once in a lifetime teams. very dominant. and i hate that ****in allstar dany heatley.
08: wings. second-favorite team, love their organization.
09: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
10: should be pretty obvious.

Hurricanes, obviously.
Ducks - Sens...didn't really care who won. Liked both teams
Pittsburgh
Detroit
Chicago

Yep, despite the rematch I switched sides.

Oilers - Wanted to see a Canadian team that wasn't Montreal or Toronto win the cup.
Ducks - They were the affiliate of the Portland Pirates at the time so I had a lot of players to root for on that team.
Red Wings - They just build teams right, pretty hard not to respect them.
Red Wings - Same
Blackhawks - Didn't want the Flyers comeback to mean quite as much as it would have with a Cup to punctuate it. Plus I liked the Blackhawks anyway.

Edmonton. One of two Canadian teams I don't hate (Calgary being the other) so I wanted a Canadian team to win so I don't have to hear "Habs were the last Canadian team to win" anymore.

Ducks. Do I need to give a reason, as I'm a Leafs fan?

Detroit. Living in Halifax all I hear is Crosby this and Crosby that.

Detroit for the reason above, plus good jokes for Hossa. Though Detroit could pass Leafs soon in Cup wins so I didn't care if they lost.

Phili. I knew the Leafs drought would be brought up much more. Though people talk about it being the longest but St Louis and LA have gone just as long so it isn't as bad.

Carolina - cause oilers put out the ducks

Anaheim - obviously

Pittsburgh - cause I live in halifax and Sid is my favorite non duck

Pittsburgh - same as above

Chicago - cause it's my dads favorite team and he was born a year after they last won the cup, so wanted to see them pull through for him
