The Flyers have proven themselves to be really good under pressure, plus they have the better team (you can't deny that their offense is way better than the Sabres's one, so is their D... goaltending is streaky, but Boucher might bounce back and be as good as Miller for game 6), so yeah, they are still in.
If Leighton plays = No
If Boucher plays = They still have hope
Leighton could be a curve-ball though. They aren't prepared to play against him as they have had time to solve boosh, who had a really bad 1st period last game. They are all pro's though, so I wouldn't put anything past either of them
I certainly think that they could take it. They looked like the best team in the east for the better part of the regular season so they definitely have the firepower to outgun the Sabres. I was surprised how questionable the goaltending has been though. Could be that coaching decisions killed the Flyers chances if they don't pull through.

Doesn't work that way. When you play hockey, you don't have time to think about how to beat the goalie. Whoever it is, you do your best in the situation you are. Hockey is a reaction to situations game, unless you do shootouts.

Hit the nail right on the head. Plus the Sabres didn't need to "solve" Boucher, he did that all by himself last night...
I disagree. If he was hugging the post like he should have been on BOTH the first 2 goals, then they wouldn't have gone in. that= bad goaltending.
On the first goal, Boucher expected a pass (source : him, in the post game interview), and Ennis had a very bad angle, that was weird. The second, Boucher couldn't do anything.

He was cheating on both goals. If he stays tight to the post those pucks don't go in. It was poor goaltending.
I don't think they'll come back. It'll suck for Flyers fans if that happens because they've had such a talented team the last two years. I really thought they were the East favourites by far.
It'l' be nice to see Buffalo go far though. They're my favourites out East in the playoffs. Expansion brothers!

The second one was shot from behind the goaline. It deflected off Boucher. How is it that there was nothing he could do?
Regardless of the position they're in. I find it shocking that so many people seem to forget that the Flyers are still easily the deepest team in the East WITHOUT Pronger, yet apparently they're just another scrub team with zero chance of going far without him.

Agreed...I still can't believe they gave up on Bob after 2 damn games and brought in Michael freaking Leighton who played one game in the NHL this year.

They did not solve Boosh, he just failed epically in a terrible moment. I think they either have to go back to Bob or give Boosh a chance to sink or swim.
I do not want to see Leighton in the net tomorrow.
