Habs Game 6 elimination game vs. Bruins - April 26, 2011

The biggest game of the year for the Habs is tomorrow night and I want to talk about it.

I'm both nervous and excited. I hope DD can play. I thought he looked really good with Gomez and Gionta. It's a smurf line, yes, but they forechecked well and DD just seemed to complement them with his skill. He looked fast against the Bruins too. lol

I also thought Halpern played a strong game. I wouldn't mind if he was moved up to the Cammy - Pleks line.

Cammy - Pleks - Halpern
DD - Gomez - Gionta
Darche - Eller - AK
Moen - Pyatt - White

That would give us 3 lines that could score but a mish mash 4th line with no real 4th line centre.

If DD and Wiz can't go, I'd dress Mara and Weber. I just don't trust Pouliot to not take a stupid penalty at the worst time. Plus, he just falls down a lot.

Then I'd go:

Cammy - Pleks - AK
Halpern - Gomez - Gionta
Darche - Eller - White
Moen - Pyatt - Weber

Go Habs GO!!

why are things so painfully predictable? i wish that faint feeling we all had in our guts never materialized into a reality....but no **** the bruins would be the ones putting our balls on the wire after taking a 2-0 lead. *sigh*

these are POORLY WRITTEN STORIES, you hear me hockey gods? get ****ed. come up with something new. would it kill you to surprise us once in a while...this is worse than a mexican soap opera (starring gomez? haha)

Price is in almost the same situation as Halak last year.

Three games lost in a row. Down against a higher seed expected to walk all over you.

Does he have the Halak in him?

That's true, we won the first game of that series and then lost the next three, but we won game 5 in Washington although we probably had no business winning game 6 in Montreal. Halak played out of his mind.

The things that the Canadiens have done well all season - skating, defense, PK they continue to do well. But, the offense was seriously inconsistent over the season and that's what is killing us now. So many lost opportunities...

That is what worries me. We can outplay the Bruins and be the better team but unless we bury the chances we create for ourselves we aren't going to win.

Having said that, I still believe we can win at home.

I am verrrrrrry nervous though.

Key for the Habs.

Bury chances.

Scoring chances are always there.

Don't know if its been posted anywhere else yet, but Desharnais out for game 6 due to a sprained knee. Sorry if it was already posted.

I have the same bad feel that I had for last game. Last game of year, imo.

Should I post the GDT now? I would post it by midnight EST anyways, should I post it a couple hours earlier?

I'm cool with adding 12 more wins to those

One game at a time now, I believe

Hopefully the habs are in the state of mind as the song, but I doubt it.

If you're going to lose, at least put up a fight. Don't take it like a *****.
