Ok, since the bitterness of game 5 has sort of passed. TIME TO GET RE-PUMPED.

Love those videos from last year:

I love the song. We feel like Washington was going to win the series easily, then all of sudden, everything collapse, and a new hero was born. Teamplay won over selfish elite players like Ovechkin, Backstrom, Semin, Green, etc...

Sure. Two wins in a row is nothing. I don't see why we couldn't do this. The last few games could've gone either way and I still think we will win the series.

True Hab fans know that this series is over. The fat Bruin has sung.
Hopefully Molson will get some offence before next season.
18 years and counting.
Anyone (Hab fan or not) knows that a Boston series lead over Montreal is never over until it's over.

I'm pretty sure you're from Boston.

As usual, I hope I'm wrong and that the Habs will win the series but I highly doubt after blowing our 2-0 lead in the series and our leads in game 4.

Will the Habs prove me wrong? Questions will become answers.

Agreed, the team played inspired hockey. They made us proud, I honestly felt I would have been just as proud if they had lost. Desperation how beautiful of thing it was.

I just hope they do the same the next game. Come out blazing and leave it all on the ice. Not sit and wait for Boston to dictate what kind of game we are going to have. We beat the Bruins in game 1 and 2 by playing our game and following our plan, the last 3 games it just feels like we are waiting for something to happen before the team lights up. Not sure what that something is, game 5 it was Boston's goal.

I Believe in Jaroslav Price.

I hope he plays like Halak did in game 6, one year ago

Lol at the habs fans vicious circle of bitterness --> repumping. The last 3 loses I felt like I gave it all as a fan, and the next day all I want to do is watch youtube videos or listen to songs that will pump me up for the next game . I'm addicted to hope when it comes to the montreal canadiens.

I can't believe some of the pessimism that comes from the media and some fair-weather fans.

Despite the injuries, despite the lack of a suspension for Ference

I believe they can win and they will win.

You comment about Chara is perfect...he is a career choker in game 7's (never won one in his career).

The Canadiens, meanwhile WON 5 ELIMINATION games last year fellow Habs fans...this year we just need 2.

I hope he decides to play like Carey Price did in Game 5 this year.

Only difference; the rest of the team actually shows up.

Exactly, well said CS.

Thats what worries me most. the fact that we still have no idea which team will show at any given game. But the Habs have shown character when facing elimination, lets hope they fight to the death...and not give up.

Just food for thoughts, but how does those pairings sounds to you?

Subban - Gill
Weber - Mara
Wiz - Hamrlik

I believe that the games that the Bruins won (the games we won also) could have gone either way. I don't believe this is over.

I'll admit, my post was a bit harsh. Guys like Eller, Cammy, Gionta, Halpern and DDH did show up, but the team's effort overall was so bland. I honestly, have not sat through a game and become so angry like that in many years.

To think, pre-game, Price stated that all he wanted was two goals and he would take care of the rest.

If the bruins take their foot off the pedal...we will win both games. If they go full force, it will be a game of bounces. Third option is that we go into Habs beast mode which we've seen before. I like the last one better than the others.

my only "deception" is that DD will be out. We need a new hero. Maybe that rookie #11 will break out. He's due and his twin #91 lead us when we were down 3-1 to Washington last year.

Imagine if Gomez skated wearing 91 instead of 11 and scored two goals

He's cursed, he shouldn't have taken Koivu's number. Not so soon.

Lol I would if I was him. Red pads/white pads all over again...haha

But realistically I dont think any amount of luck would have helped. The expectation on him is too high, with reason due to his salary. Its easy to say ignore his salary but lets be real with high dollars comes high expectations. Gomez (although not his fault) pretty much killed any chances he had to fly under they radar and beat expectations when he signed that contract.

Come on guys, lets be realistic!

Sorry to rain on your parade but -

Our team has to over achieve and Boston has to under achieve for us to win!

Unfortunately the book is out on Martin's defensive system....and we don't have an offensive system.

Gauthier better fix our offensive problems in the offseason.

you really think that we didn't have the better (GOLDEN!) chances it OT last game? Even the end of the third.

We need to figure out what to do about DD (who thought that THIS would be the biggest problem in an elimination game...well..ok..a lot of us do love Davey). He's the fastest guy on the ice, with hands and vision. I don't know how to replace that with except maybe Eller given more of an offensive role. He can cut through the B's defence, just needs to get that shot off.

Big games from Gio, Cammy, Pleks and yes...I'm calling it, G-Luv. I'm gonna say PK on the PP is the winning goal.
