Well done. I hope you put down some major coinage with those predictions.
Went 7/8 myself. Went with Pit instead of TB

Haha, I made a couple bets with friends, and I am on the Yahoo fantasy picks game.

Next round I've got Tampa, Boston, Vancouver, Detroit. Feels right and I'm sticking with it.... the Tampa one being the most controversial pick.

For the second round I got...Vancouver (though I'm going to continue cheering for the Preds), Detroit, Washington and Philly.

Drum Rollllllllllllll Detroit in 7

Western Final

Detroit - Canucks -> Detroit in 5. Datsyuk and Zetterberg will dominate.

Eastern Final

Tampa - Boston -> Toss up. I think Tampa takes it in 6

Stanley Cup Final: Tampa vs Detroit

CHAMPIONS: DETROIT RED WINGS

I was 7 for 8. Went with Anaheim instead. Next round I like Boston and Tampa along with Vancouver and SJ.

What a gong show in Philadelphia with their goalie situation.

Although Nucks fans won't admit it, the Hawks series and game 2 last night I think shows that there are 8 contenders left and the hype surrounding the Nucks being a huge favorite was just that - hype.

I will say they'd would be near the top of the contenders but the gap from 1 to 8 is narrow.

I also think San Jose is the West favorite. They played 24 divisional games against 3 playoff teams and the 9th place team (Dallas). Vancouver had 24 divisional games against 4 non-playoff teams which includes two of the worst teams of this season, Edmonton and Colorado.

To be fair, SJ has been the favorite a few times, and we've all seen what happened.

As it looks now Vancouver is the new San Jose. Great in the regular season but not tough enough for the post season. Maybe San Jose can do it this year though.

Being a Flames Fan in Vancouver is hard right now... Id say they can probably take San Jose and meet Boston in the finals.

I have Detroit to win tonight, and I'd be 4/4 in addition to my 8/8 in the first round if that happens.

In the Yahoo leagues, I'm tied for 33 overall in the entire league. :] Got some extra points for predicting Vancouver in 6.

Red Wings are a banged up team right now, so here's hoping a healthy Sharks team advances to face the Canucks.

I wanted San Jose to go through, but I felt that they did not deserve to win the series after blowing a 3-0 lead similarly to Vancouver in the first round. My predictions this round also sucked

I've been hoping that since the start of the playoffs, now I just wish a team would actually do it.
