Thomas is all kinds of awesome. Loved that hit. Also loved seeing Lucic put his fingers in front of Burrows` mouth during that scrum. The Canucks are just such an easy team to hate, so many ********** on that roster.

Yup. Missed the Peverley goal, but I'm full on rooting for the Bruins.

Probably my favorite moment from the game tonight was Marchand taking out 3 of the Canucks in about 15 seconds, including one of the stupid Sedins

Woohooo....I couldn't be happier about this! Seeing the look on the Nucks faces was priceless. Hopefully they can win the next 2 games and get it done in Boston!

Canucks win two by 1 goal each but Boston thromps them by a combined 12-1 in two games. Keep up a fraction of their swagger and Boston could easily keep pushing for the Cup.

Loved this. This made my night. I am outnumbered in my house 3 to one. Loved being the one guy that didnt hop on the wagon (I know i hopped on the Bruins, but hey, hell of a lot better than hopping on the nucks wagon.)

Even though I'd rather see the Bruins win the next two, I'd be just as happy to see the Bruins win the Stanley Cup in Vancouver in front of all the Canucks fans.

I'm outnumbered in my house too, both my brothers are Nucks fans so seeing this last night just made my night.

I'm also outnumbered. Everyone in my family insists that the Canucks winning the cup is best for Canada, so I'm the only one cheering for Boston to win. They don't seem to understand that being a Flames fan means I can't cheer for Vancouver.

Did anyone catch the interview lastnight with Luongo where he deflects any blame for the goals he lets in (again), and then when informed the fans at home cheered when he was pulled, he whimpers "no comment....." and walks away sniffling.
The dude is the complete opposite of Kipper who never shows any emotion.

I can understand being upset that your hometown fans are cheering for you to get pulled, but I agree, I don't remember ever seeing Luongo take responsibility for his own shortcomings. He's quick to blame the forwards and the defense, but at the end of the day, he's the one who has to make the saves. And he didn't make them. 12 times. That's not (entirely) the defense's fault. I think that if the Canucks want to win this series, each player needs to step up and take responsibility, rather than passing the blame around.

Of course, I'm hoping the Canucks don't win this series, so really, they can keep doing whatever they want.

For those who haven't seen it so far:

Fast forward to 2:48 for the part about the fans.

Even his body language was screaming "DEFLECT THE BLAME, DEEEEFLEEECTT!"
Really though, having a short memory doesn't seem to be part of his skill.

Remarkable.

Reading through this thread it's clear to me that Oilers fans (count myself among them) and Flames fans actually DO see eye to eye on something: their shared hatred for all things Canuck.

Whether it be Gillis's whining, Torres's cheap shotting, the Sisters' diving, Burrows's biting, Lapierre's yapping, Bieksa's bullying, 7uon8o's bed crapping, or the fans' collective premature Cup-granting, it would appear we're largely on the same page.

'Til October, at least. In the meantime...

Go, Bruins!
