You are now AV

Aside from scheduling an appointment to get your mole removed, how would you shake things up? You have to win Game 7 or it's your ass.

For me:

Daniel - Kesler - Burrows
Raymond - Henrik - Samuelsson
Higgins - Hodgson - Hansen
Tambellini - Lapierre - Oreskovich

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Edler - Ehrhoff
Ballard - Salo --OR-- Alberts - Ballard (if Salo is injured)

Luongo
Schneids

My reasoning:

If the Henrik is being shut down by Bolland, put him on a different line. Henrik is having trouble this series, Daniel has been fantastic (5-2 for 7 points). Having Daniel on Kes' wing will open things up for Kes when Danny gets double coverage. Burrows and Kes have found their old chemistry in the last game.

Raymond and Samuelsson know how to cycle and can play that game with Henrik. This line should create some trouble for the Hawks.

Tambo should be brought back in. We need his scoring (better than Glass). Hodgson is a good playmaker and Tambo has one hell of a shot. Hansen is awesome anywhere you put him and will be good on the fore and backcheck for this line.

The last line should play VERY limited minutes and really only when we're already up a goal. Oreo is leagues better than Glass and Torres. I've actually seen Oreo make some sick passes. Just a typical crash and bang.

As for the defense, no real changes, just tell them to ****ing shoot more. Chicago is not afraid of using their points, the Canucks however, aside from Ehrhoff, refuse to fire from up top on a rookie goalie that has given up some rebounds thus far.

I go with Luongo in net cause he's been solid throughout the series. If you don't agree with that, that's your opinion.

So all in all, the main plan is to split the Sedins to stop them both from being covered. This shifts up our depth a bit and should mess with how Chicago covers us. Obviously let the Sedins play together on PPs and on the shift right after PKs.

Sedin-Sedin-Samuelsson
Raymond-Kesler-Burrows
Higgins-Hodgson-Hansen
Torres-Lapierre-Oreskovich

Edler-Ehrhoff
Hamhuis-Bieksa
Ballard-Salo

Luongo

Alberts in if Salo can't go.

Considered putting Tamby in for Torres since we have an unbelievable record with him in the lineup, and the local kid could have an extra gear for a big game like this. Torres has made some really dumb plays since coming back, but he is a physical presence. Don't want to give Chicago any mental edge that we're giving up physically.

DO NOT play Hamhuis-Bieksa against the top line.

Bench Hodgson and Torres late in the game. Lappiere and Oreskovich played very strong in the 3rd/overtime in game 6.

If our top 6 guys don't come up with the best game of their lives, in the biggest Game 7 of their lives it doesn't really matter who you put them with. I'd stick with what they're used to, what got us here. Had to bench Cody, too many Rookie mistakes started creeping in Game 6 for me. The fourth line could really set the tone early if those 3 guys put it together tomorrow night.

Same sort of thing as last game. Torres out, Glass back in. Ballard back in, for Salo if he's not 100%, or Alberts if Salo is good to go.

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows/Samuelsson/Oreo/Hansen/and i'd even throw Hodgson a shift or two.
Raymond/Higgins-Kesler-Burrows/Samuelsson
Raymond/Higgins-Hodgson-Hansen
Glass-Lappy-Oreo

You live and die by what you've done all year.

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Higgins - Kesler - Samuelsson
Raymond - Hodgson - Hansen
Torres - Lapierre - Oreskovich

Edler - Ehrhoff
Hamhuis - Bieksa
Ballard - Rome

Luongo
Schneider

If he was going to experiment with Schneider, why not experiment with splitting the Sedins up?

Daniel - Kesler - Burrows
Raymond - Henrik - Samuelsson
Higgins - Hodgson - Hansen
Torres - Lapierre - Oreskovich

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Edler - Ehrhoff
Ballard - Rome

Luongo
Schneider

Sedin-Sedin-Hansen
Raymond-Kesler-Burrows
Sammuelsson-Hodgson-Higgins
Torres-Lapierre-Oreskovich

Then adjust accordingly down to three lines if we're winning, playing Lapierre in Hodgson's spot.

Would also be ok with swapping Hansen/Burrows. Regardless, those six should be our top six and eat up the minutes.

Sedin / Sedin / Hansen
Raymond / Kesler / Burrows
Lapierre / Hodgson / Higgins
Torres / Oreo / Samuelsson

And Samuelsson would be so gone from the first unit PP.

Splitting up the Sedins would be stupid. You take that risk in game 5 or 6, not 7.

Sedin Sedin Samuelsson
Raymond Kesler Burrows
Higgins Hodgson Hansen
Tambellini Lapierre Oreskovich

Torres is just a liability

Edler Ehrhoff
Bieska Hamhuis
Salo (Alberts) Ballard

No rome. NO ROME.

Both goaltenders pretty much suck. Probably have to go with Luongo. He is talented enough to win it by himself. Hopefully he can just keep from costing them the game.

I'd say bench Torres and keep Kesler/Burrows together

Just imagine if Ballard and Tambo combine for the GWG tomorrow. THAT would be insanity.

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Oreskovich
Raymond - Kesler - Burrows
Higgins - Lapierre - Hansen
Tambellini - Hodgson - Samuelsson

Edler - Ehrhoff
Hamhuis - Bieksa
Alberts - Ballard

Luongo

Defence pretty much stands pat.

Line 1 - Call me crazy, you can expect Bolland on the ice with the Sedins, Oreskovich's assignment is simple, create space for the Sedins - eliminate Bolland from the equation in whatever way you have to, be smart and dont take penalties to do so.

Line 2 - Easily the best line last game. It looked crazy good, stick with what works

Line 3 - Energy line. Send them out when we need some momentum or to draw penalties.

Line 4 - You don't have to play them often, play them when the first two lines are absolutely gassed. They'll see most of there time in the start of the game if things are looking good out there. They can generate opportunities as well.

This is the most balanced and crazy line combo I could logically explain.

THIS.

Tambo has shown that he can throw his body around as well and get in on the forecheck. He cannot do any worse than what Torres has done since his suspension.
