Wow, for my capstone class (they had a couple of options including a senior thesis) I had to write 2 10 page papers, and like 10 paragraph or 2 short writing assignments, but I would never have wanted to do a thesis.

Meh, it's counted for a full credit class for me in each of my last two semesters, so it has an upside.
I am like a master procrastinator. 20-page paper supposed to be working on all year? Bam, done today. Big exam worth 50% of grade? Didn't study all year. Study all night tonight like a boss.

Product Design 1 class = invent a product, come up with all the necessary steps to bring it into development and then write a 65-80 page paper on it. I hate this class. not to mention Calc 2 exam and final still coming. Easily my hardest semester.

She told us in PD2 that we actually have to manufacture a product. Which to me is absurd, because we have to cover so many costs for that. Its not even funny how much thats going to cost.
You know, people like to ***** about writing huge papers, and it does suck, but imagine being the guy who has to read and critique 20 or 40 or even more of those things. On subjects he probably has beaten to death for years.
I would rather write one 20 page paper than have to read everyone else's and read them thoroughly enough to grade them properly, and I like reading.

They shouldn't hand them out then they don't have to read them, it's a win-win
Or even better yet, don't pay thousands of dollars to get assigned ridiculous papers! Save money and more time for HFboards!
