No, I'm not giving props to Bush.

As for the burial at sea, some people are saying that the burial was wrong because Bin Laden did not die at sea.
Read a history book...it was the policies Bush put into place which led to the information...AND Bush had the brains to put the troops in place.
Then he ran on smearing Bush, the troops and every American in between.
Then he became president and continued ALL of the policy's.
The intell and info came from smashing heads in the field and smacking up lowlifes in Gitmo

Government considering to show some pics of bin Laden dead. They have yet to release it because it is very graphic, and they have no reason to at this time

He got shot in the head but they didn't know if he still had a bomb on himself so they did a "double tap:" Another shot in the head.

Depending on the firearm, he could have a split head.

I believe they shot him through the eye. I'm also assuming they used lower caliber weapons so I dont think his head would be split. Unless they went quintuple tap just to be safe.

I wish I could play hockey but I don't even think I could keep my balance on any pair of skates, roller or ice.

If I could i'd definitely take you up on that offer.

Same here. Also, based on my size, I'd have to pull some Theo Fluery magic to keep up.

Good! Go Hawks.

Want ATL and OKC in the Finals with OKC winning it all.

Not only would that be good for the lesser markets in the NBA but would mean that all the teams I hate would be out.

His head probably isn't split. Good shot it was an MP5, 9mm.

And at the end of the day, both Clinton and Bush could have had Bin Laden liquidated well ahead of time. Don't believe me, go look into what the CIA and other international intel said about Bin Laden, especially regarding embassy bombings in Africa.

Well just today I heard several higher ups in the Bush administration contradict each other on what started the information chain rolling....so there you go. Much of the true history of what is and will be the War on Terror will probably stay secret after many of us are gone.

I really hate that Americans feel the need to count coup on each other in the wake of this great success.

"Bush couldn't get him but Obama did" and all the other right vs left rubbish I'm hearing today.

Let's just celebrate the sheer joy in the fact that as I write this some fish is swallowing a piece of bin Laden.

...Gruesome but very, very cool in a dish best served cold kinda way.

directed at American Christians

As a country that largely identifies itself as Christian, I'm somewhat turned off and disappointed by excessive celebration over someone's death. I definitely identify with those who have gained closure over our past tragedies (you can and should be happy about closure) but to outright celebrate murder, even of an enemy seems so wrong, barbaric, backwards, 3rd world, take your pick. When WWII ended, people did not celebrate the death of Hitler, rather the end of the war; the peace that would come. Hopefully all this fist pumping is just a knee jerk reaction to all that has happened in the last 10 years; an expression of hope for peace and not genuine vitriol for humans, however disgusting and evil they may be. I hope we can be better than them. Those who identify themselves as Christians and continue to celebrate OBL's death though, and for all the non-Christians, ALALALALALALALALALALALAA i keeeeed.

Even though I do not consider myself a religious person, these isms are common knowledge to me. I imagine any good Christian would know these.

supposedly this is a viral quote someone falsely attributed to MLK, probably to give it credibility.

You're so ignorant and uninformed it hurts.

I'm willing to bet the house your favorite TV channel is Fox News.
