Oscar Moller would look good in a Sens jersey.

Easily for Giroux and probably for JVR. I've been a big JVR fan and I'm hoping he's breaking out. It would be a pretty big risk but he's something this organization needs badly.

Giroux I wouldn't even have to think about. An impact forward like him isn't something that comes along every day. Karlsson would be missed but at least we have the prospects coming up to soften the blow.

He's significantly better at doing that from the right side.
The only problem is for Butler, he has to play the right wing. Earlier this year we started Butler on the left side and he just floated back to the right. It leaves a giant gap up the ice because he's so used to playing on the right side. Michalek needs to be moved to the right side, though.

Tempting but naw. I'd almost rather give up Rundblad but I don't think I'd do that either

It was discussed in a thread I posted. Fans on both teams agreed for:

Foligno for Moller + 3rd

Hemsky IS injury prone, and he could walk for nothing at the end of the year. Why would Ottawa do this?

Beacuse you get A veteran presence and you get a Great player that can play with spezza. Think about it in a couple of years your first line could look like this

martin frk -Spezza -Hemsky

Frk ( top 3 prospect For 2012 )

So you say that we will finish in the bottom 3 next year, and Hemsky will want to stay?

I would much rather have one of the leagues top defensive units in a couple years:

Cowen-Karlsson
Lee-Rundblad
Wiercoch-Gryba

Now that looks amazing. That's when Phillips and Gonchar are gone.

I'd rather that then Hemsky.

Jason Blake?

He would be a decent addition, he actually played pretty well for us this season. Only problem is the salary, but the contract ends next season.

I think Jason Blake has negative value, or close to it.

Probably so, it was worth a shot though.

Wouldnt that make your offense weak and your salary cap really low Also hemsky wants to sign with a team who's in the bottom 3 right now so what makes think he wnt sign with you

Not really interested in Hemsky. There's no need to trade an asset like Jared Cowen, who's rights we have for another seven years, for however much of this season Hemsky isn't injured for.

He has been with the Oilers, and maybe the organization has treated him well.

Our forwards would not be week. I would rather not give up a top prospect. Why wouldn't we just used the cap space you mentioned to sign someone like Brooks Laich or Jussi Jokinen.

We don't WANT to increase our salary cap, unless its through adding players in Free Agency.

I don't want Hemsky for any of these players:

Jason Spezza
Erik Karlsson
David Rundblad
Jared Cowen
Jason Spezza
Daniel Alfredsson
1st Round Pick in 2011
Craig Anderson
Robin Lehner

No deal from Edmonton? That's okay, you can keep Hemsky, and we will keep Cowen.
