He's one of the most dominant dmen in the first round.

I don't remember a young dmen being has good in his first 20 playoff games (it's starting to be a good sample).

Gomez got his 100 career playoff point tonight !

It's pretty damn impressive! I haven't been thrilled with his season, but after two years of stepping up big time when it really matters he will officially get a pass from me in any other subpar seasons. Most goals last year and leading in points this year, damn.

Subban is also leading the league in TOI and TOI/g. Not bad for a rookie!

Cammy, Subban and Price have been flat-out WOW good. Gionta has been a beat and for all the hate Hamr has handled an impossible job incredibly well. Pleks has shut Kreiji's line down. Eller's showing more and more. Desharnais has more than earned a future with the club, and hopefully returns soon and well. There's a lot to appreciate.

That said, we're icing a terrible defense corps and a heavily depleted forward group. Be a great underdog story if we can take out Boston.

how about Eller just dominating the play when he's on the ice? He's really coming into his own....

Bruins post game interviews, players and coach arent giving the habs credit, but rather saying that we were basically given the game with 5 on 3s haha. Well, Julien, maybe if your players stop with the dirty plays and if you dont slip the puck over the boards right after that call you wouldnt have been down 5 on 3. Credit to the habs for capitalizing. Also credit the Habs for killing off all Bruins PPs in the series. What I would also say to Julien, is the refs gave them some gifts as well with the blown call on the first goal of the game that was clearly not covered by Thomas. Oh, and how about the offside call missed on the OT goal the bruins scored.

Go Habs Go! Beat em in beantown and lets head to Washington.

Lucic better be suspended. Not sure what all this talk is about thinking he might not be. It was obvious, the players head was bleeding from the hit as a result of the boarding call. Player gets a 5 minute major and a game misconduct should be a suspension.

Next jersey is Eller. Have Cammalleri, Price and Subban...Eller has earned his own jersey too!

Would not happen that fast.

If tomorrow morning we hear there is a phone hearing, there would be 1 game...doubt it.

Why wouldnt he be. Not sure why everyone believe's he won't be. Hit from behind that actually left evidence on the head of the player on the receiving end. That evidence being blood.

boston has about 20 PP's but about half have been eliminated within the first 30 seconds with a penalty on them. I wish the ref would have not blown the whistle on the goal as they would have not been attempting to make up for it all game. overall awful officiating

I would not suspend him. Come on, in the regular season, it would have been 2 games....what do you think it means in the playoffs...heading in game 7? 5 AND game is a hefty punishment in itself. Some replays shows Spacek kinda turned around, other replays shows he didn't. Tough call and on a tough call, you don't suspend. Mind you, Spacek came back as well.

As far as tomorrow's game, well 2 games in 2 nights, the easy answer wuldu be that depth and stamina will play a key role so I don't like our chances.

But anything can happen.

I hate it when it happens to us, but those 5 on 3s were spot on. In both cases the second penalties were pretty much automatic calls and had to be made. Breaking a stick with a slash and delay of game rarely go uncalled.

But the high-stick penalty with 3 min left in the game should've been 4 min. Moen was clearly bleeding and the ref saw it but for some reason, they gave Kelly only 2 min.

The refs weren't going to give an extra 2 for Moen's little scratch in the remaining 3 mins of a game 6 right after throwing Lucic out of the game aswell as giving two 5-on3's (even if those were automatics)

Plus the refs gave us a 2 min for a bad goalie interference call, so there ya go.

Well, Joe Thornton knows what he is talking about regarding the Bruins players never getting suspended for major infractions and having the disciplinary process being on their side.

So, perhaps that trend will continue with Lucic.

But rules are rules. It wasn't a scratch, he was bleeding on the nose and the ref was there, clearly saw it. But then again, this is the nhl so I'm not even surprised.
