Cammalleri appreciation thread

Ok...

So he's at it again... leading the league in PO points this year. Remarkable.

Thought a little thread would be nice for one of our top leaders.

He's been great. He's one of the guys that's able to raise his game for the playoffs.

I know there was alot of people (and I was semi-included) who were worried he wouldn't be able to raise his game. Thankfully weather it ends tonight or not, he's proven that he can be a clutch player in the post season.

where is that Cammalleri hater now?

How many goals do we actually score? And he's leading the playoffs in scoring. He must be in on 80-90% of our goals.

I bashed him a lot during the season but I always thought the real test would be this year's playoffs. I'm not afraid to say it : he is a playoff beast. It seems it has a lot to do with his level of focus in the games but also between the games. He can't keep this level of focus in a 82 games season but he can and he loves to do it when it matters the most. His focus helps him take the right decisions, something he had troubles with during the regular season.

I still don't think he is the guy who can carry a team on his shoulders in the regular season though.

Always been a fan. I never doubted him. Obviously he could have been a bit better in the regular season, but so could have a lot of players.

16 goals and 28 points in 25 playoff games with the Habs. Thats so solid. Gotta hand it to Cammy. I will even admit i was a little worried he couldnt match his production levels from last years PO's but hes definitely coming through. Its nice to know we can expect top level play from him every spring now.

I think he's involved in 60% of our goals. He's been blocking shots all over and he goes to corners a lot more than during the season.

He's not off the hook yet for the average season (injury-included, he still should've had 28-35 goals). He still needs to produce more consistently next season

Haven't you heard? Reen Machine (the hater) actually IS Mike Cammalleri.

He's far too busy right now creating schemes to dismantle the Bruins tonight.

Cammy just plain brings it.

Also man in Neuvirth unphotogenic (if that is a word, spellcheck seems to think it isn't).

And that's just average ice time. He's 5th overall in TOTAL time and he's played one less game than the rest of the top 10!

PK is a beast. Cammy is a beast. Price is a beast.

He definitely had a subpar year, but he was nursing an arm and shoulder (or was it wrist? I forget which now) injury for most of the season and only started to get relatively healthy in the last 10 or so games, so given better luck with injuries next year, he'll likely have a killer season.

Definition of clutch player.

Involved in 9 out of 14 goals (64%) the Habs scored!

And wow, amazing stat for PK. A Rookie that has the highest TOI/G of any player in the playoffs? Of course they're not over yet, but how many times did that happen exactly...?

Come on!

MC has 10 points as of tonight.

He has lead all NHLers in scoring in the first round

More than ANY other star on any team.

AND he plays with the low scoring Habs.

The dude is money.

Always liked MC. He had a rough year due to injuries but as usual stepped it up postseason.

Never been a big fan of Cammy... but this man is money in the playoffs. Like for real, not like Gomez.

And PK is at -2 too!

Trade all of these: Gomez, Gionta, Cammy, PK, Wiz, Plek. All minuses in +/- . Useless.

I appreciate what he brings offensively, but being -5 for the series is unacceptable. He's a huge liability in our end. People say that doesnt really matter because hes producing offensively, but he plays big minutes, which means being in our own end for big minutes. Obviously hes not the only one who sucks in our end, but I find his lack of effort in our end very noticeable.

He's not paid to be Ryan Kesler for us.
